Locks of Love--Can you ever imagine JWs doing such a thing?
by rebel8 intoday hundreds of people are volunteering their hair for an org that provides wigs to cancer pts.
the today show in nyc had a few folks allow their long hair to be cut for donation and there are hundreds in another locale doing the same.
there are even little kids doing it!.

he beat her up and tore down a door in front of several people.

i used to be a dj back in the day.
i worked at a rollerskating rink when disco was king and did private gigs as well.

My D/f appeal meeting went amazingly, but the still want to d/f me
by jwfacts insorry how long this is but i found the meeting very exciting.
the short version is i said directly that i do not believe in the wts, feel being d/f is unfair on my jw family so asked them to just leave me alone.
it didn't work.

College deletions?

my dad is being deleted.
evidently new material was presented at the elder school.

Why not have your dad email the Society to get it first hand, If that is the case, the future lawyers going to college on the Society's dime should also quit.

Runningman, I also graduated from a 4 year university and have conitinued taking classes. I must have been very fortunate to have the parents/presiding overseer dad that I had as it was never a problem.
I hope it really works out for you if that is what you want.

What area of the USA do you go to school? I find it very hard to believe as I have many relatives and friends in college who are still afflilitaed who have said nothing about it.
If you want it bad enough, and you are an adult, stick with it. Sounds like a lot of personal agendas going on too.

jw's and verbal/written hit-and-runs...
by in a new york bethel minute inseems like every day i have less and less jw friends... but every so often i'll receive an email or msn message from one saying something witnessy, only to not be able to reply to it because that person has blocked my messages.
anyone else notice this trend?
it seems to me that fearful or insecure people do stuff like that... they have plenty so say, but with no ears to hear anything back.... bethel

Why not create another free email account such as a hotmail account? Email them with your thoughts and then block them from it.. What's good for the goose.........
