Hi leftbelow,
I think my posts stink pretty much too compared to other posters here,
I often reply with a variation of "me too" or "yep". And most topics I start are really basic questions, but you have to start somewhere,
i have noticed that, in general, there is a "core" of regular posters on jwd that have been members for several years.. however, it seems the vast majority of "newbies" disappear after a couple posts, days or perhaps a week.
how many "welcome" or "introduction" .
threads have we had here where the new member disappears within a day or so, never to post again?

Hi Warlock,
Nope, that's not me in the picture,

Well, I consider myself a newbie, and I agree that there's so much to read and think about, it just doesn't occur to me that I should post a reply.
I've recently been making a conscious effort to post regularly.
But notice I don't say much about myself as I'm concerned about being recognized,
what are some of your fav quotes from movies???.
i love the line in face off "oh eve i hate to see you go but i love to watch you leave".
and the one in the rock " you want me to stick this in my heart are you f#$%ing nuts".
From one of those Pink Panther movies,
"Hello little puppy, --OW! I thought you said your dog doesn't bite!"
".......That is not my dog,"

From Miller's Crossing,
"Please don't shoot me, look in your heart, please, look in your heart!"
"........What heart?" Bang!

"If I have to draw your avatar on it, I will have nightmares lmao!"
LOL!!!! Oh c'mon!
i was born into a jw home, my parents converted from catholicism a few years before my birth, so like many of you i never grew up in a home we the future was discussed in a joyful or hopeful manner, instead the doom of the end of this system of things was constant reminder that god was going to destroy the earth.
in my preteen years i remember my parents trying to rush me into being baptized before the next convention, and even would try to entice me with talking about a party and presents, i resisted, to which i had brothers trying to study with me after school, even waiting for me outside my elementary school, follow me home and talk about the end of the world and that i better be baptized, i think eventually they gave up on me and thought that i was too young.
later when i was in high school same games, although this time more intense.
Wow, I've got a similar story, thanks for sharing,

ok firstly i have nothing against ladies, especially any of the lovely ones here - some of whom i recently had the pleasure of meeting in the flesh at englishmans bbq, and i must say what a great group of girls we have here!.
anyway back to my question, a number of times i have noticed that some women seem to go quiet on you rather than tell you what they feel.
almost like pushing you away because they can't speak about whatever it is.
I quit trying to figure women out a long time ago. If she seems upset, but refuses to even acknowledge that she's upset, so be it, I assume she's not upset.
My experience is that most women (or the few I've known) kinda like a little drama and need something to complain about to her friends and coworkers. They'd rather let the problem stew for a day or two before trying to resolve it right away.
Usually it's about something stupid anyways! HAHAHA! (wish I had that smilie that pokes it's tongue out,)
