Recieved copy of Michigan Apostate Letter today
by lovelylil intoday i received the letter sent to all the elders in michigan that our friend outaservice was referring to a few days ago.
i was planning on scanning it and putting it up on the jwd.
but the print if very, very tiny and my hubby (who knows how to scan) said it will be very hard to see.

What's the best Martial Art to take up??

i'm thinkinf of taking up kendo...... but lots of people have been advising karate, taekwondo, jujitsu, judo and aikido to me.... does anyone on this board do any of the oriental martial arts?
any suggestions on the benefits and disadvantages of the martial arts?

Depends on what you're looking for, - Here're my conclusions based on experience,
San Soo is the most bratal and explosive martial art
Brazilian Ju Jitzu is very effective against one attacker
Muay Thai is very effective and will get you into awesome physical shape
Aikido is great for standup grappling situations
I've heard good things about Ishinryu (probably mispelled) Karate
Tai Jitzu is very effective
I hear Judo is great for standup grappling.

Has a “brother” ever screwed you?
by noontide ini was always very cautious with worldly people but of course i trusted everyone in the congregation 100%.
i trusted someone from the congregation with a business deal and got raked over the coals.
its a long and frustrating story, suffice it to say it cost me a lot of anguish, time and money.
