Then there is the:

JW's and Mormons (**again!**)

both sexes! what is your favorite scent-cologne/aftershave/perfume?
by Ravyn ini have always loved perfumes and oils and i have quite a collection that i use as the mood strikes...but i am getting low on many of them and it is time to think about making that birthday gift list sooooooo... what do you wear and what do you like and why?.
my all-time innocent favorite is muguet des bois(lily of the valley)--reminds me of my youth and a cousin who gave it to me as a gift who is passed now.... but i also love the scent of lilac, usually in an oil.. my favorite perfumes are: obsession, rare rubies(avon), coty wild musk, revlon's fire and ice, white shoulders, sand and sable, ck's truth, (and also mesmerize, odyssey, foxfire, jasmine, raining violets, honeysuckle, lemon velvet, hawaiian white ginger--all old classic avon you can only find at flea markets or once a year in the book.).
but i need something new....i like the oriental/spicy blends, but not for all the time.

Smoker or Non Smoker?

Definitely Non-smoker, and also highly allergic to smoke. I am glad to live where I do, since there is no smoking inside public buildings - I can go out dancing and not worry about getting a migraine! I hate it - I can smell it if someone in a car in front of me in traffic is smoking.

Please keep us all up to date on the case! Here's to hoping that the ruling comes down on the side of justice for these 2 girls who have suffered so much! Those quotes lilacs put up regarding not being clergy are great.
I can picture the arguement of " But that's old light. That changes at our convenience. Now that we are being sued, we have changed our minds and we ARE clergy! Really!"

Well, it might not be that bad in reality. If all of her family are inactive and not attending, that inactivity just might rub off on her as well. Maybe her family has doubts and that is the reason they don't go, and their doubts might have influence on your wife where yours do not. Just trying to inject a little positive possibility into your scenario!

The only explanation that I remember being given was that cults worshipped or followed a man. I seem to remember the explanation in the reasoning book was that since witnesses did not follow the teachings of one man, they were not a cult. Obviously, their reasoning is oversimplified and based only on one possible identifying mark of a cult to the exclusion of all the others, but that didn't seem to matter.
