i just stepped out into my back yard and thought i was going to melt.

i was going to fill up the inflatable pool for my son, but by the time it gets filled up, the water will be about 90 and not worth the bother.

i'm sure that other california people can relate to this.

Nauseating Trip down memory lane.....

i was reading through a journal i kept for my oldest son when he was a baby, and came accross a couple of entries that just make me cringe.

i was writing about my grandparents, the last of which passed away (not witnesses) when he was still less than a year old.

the journal is written like a letter to him for when he is older.

any concrete quote that says that it is the responsible thing to do to shun people who have left?

i am pretty sure it exists, but quite frankly i am emotionally exhausted, wrung out and on the verge of a total nervous breakdown and can't stand the thought of wading through the cd rom right now to find it because i just might snap all together.

so any help anyone with a strongre stomach that might be willing to assist in finding references would be a big help.

i am so pissed at the family court system.

did you know that there is a state which shall remain nameless at this point that by law requires child support to continue to the age of 21, or as long as the "child' is attending school (and they have to attend only part time, which at community college is usually 2 classes or about 6 credits) it is bad enough that the majority of teenagers today have an "entitlement mentality", but now there is a law that backs them up!!!

kids don't even have to say thank you because they are "entitled" by the nature of the socialist crappy laws to do it!!

the state that they live in actually allows child support to continue until the age of 21(wtf?

Mom coming for a visit

my mom arrives tomorrow for a week long visit.

i'm seriously debating having a conversation with her, not about doctrinal issues, but more of what bothers me in regards to the mind control aspect of it all.

i have been reading twisted scriptures, and the subtle power of spiritual abuse.

of seldom worked territory!

we have been here more than a year, and this is only the 2nd time that anyone has ever rung the bell.

six weeks ago when they rang the bell, i engaged in a 15 minute conversation outlining the reasons i no longer go.

Play Therapy

is anyone familiar with play therapy for children?

opinions?

it has been recommended to me for my 9 year old (anxiety/add related) and i have done some internet research and it seems like it could be very effective because it would allow me to be involved in all aspects, unlike traditional therapy where they treat the sessions as confidential ( yes, as a parent i am not allowed to be party to what is discussed with my child) .
