Do u have a permit for that?
:-)
i recently bought a high powered rifle and am presently buying a pistol for back-up.
i have a cross bow, a compound bow, and several swords and knives, in fact i have been collecting knives for some time and have learned how to use them in defending myself and in taking the initiative in learning to defend myself.
i am quite versed in using both the croww bow and the compound bow, it seems the goverment doesn't want to defend us and just wants to unarm us.

Just a hunting knife under the bed.

i'm in a relationship now and its my first serious one.
she keeps telling me that she's scared because she believes i'll eventually get bored with her and start wondering how it feels like with other women.
so she wants me to hook up with other girls when she goes out of the country for the fall semester.. personally i dont want to, but this is making me wonder, in the average person's first ,serious relationship, whats the cause of the breakup?
Two things come to mind.
It was a rebound thing; she was still in love with the previous boyfriend.
Also, my inexperience having just exited the dub world. Didn't know myself or what I wanted.
Has it been 20 years already? I called her up a few years ago and we had a nice convo. Reminisced the good stuff. No regrets there.
i'm not but i bet that there are some that quiety worry about it.....what about you?
?
I had that fear for years after leaving.
Gradually changed my opinion on the subject.
I do not fear the JW version of it as they are so wrong about so many things. And have changed company policy so many times.
I do fear what humans are capable of doing to themselves and each other. That realism is more scary to me than any ancient collection of historical texts.

"the final truth is that there is no final truth.
" this statement was contained in a recent email from a close friend who is an existentialist, and by extension a nihilist.
how many here would agree with this?
I may perhaps discover my own "Truth."
Works for me
btw: excluding joining jwism unless it's too intriguing not to say.
here's mine: .
it was in the day when the paraffin man went around selling to those that still had the old paraffin burners to keep their house warm.
Shoot out the passenger window of my '78 Nova with a pellet gun. Don't ask,.....
That one's right up there,....
LMAO
once i left the jw social scene and started hanging out with "worldly" people a lot more, i realized that these "worldly" people don't gossip nearly as much as the witnesses.. i didn't realize it at the time but now i can see how much of a gossip-based social structure it all was.
jws absolutely thrive on gossip.
has anyone else noticed this?
If it is hypocritical to gossip about gossipers that are hypocritical, doesn't that make it right?

this movie was on this afternoon and i watched a bit of it.
i've seen it before.. for those who haven't seen it, it's essentially a convict on the run who takes a little boy with him.
kevin costner plays the con who takes a liking to the kid.
This movie was on this afternoon and I watched a bit of it. I've seen it before.
For those who haven't seen it, it's essentially a convict on the run who takes a little boy with him. Kevin Costner plays the con who takes a liking to the kid. The best scene is where the boy steals a ghost costume for Halloween and Costner asks him if he wants to go trick or treating. The boys says his mother forbids it because they are JW. Costner says, "I'm not asking your mother, I'm not asking Jehovah, I'm asking you, do you want to go trick or treating?" The kid smiles and nods.
Good flick.
