Knew JWs from a young child, was not baptised but active for about 2 years in the early 80s. After I left it took me years to shake off their apocalyptic hold on me. I don't take JWism or the bible seriously anymore but I have an academic interest in the subject especially since it created the person I am today. There is no getting away from that. Also this is a bright lively community!
