  I have wondered why people who make sin their second nature seem happy and are perfectly satisfied.

  You read it and then said " do you think only christians can be truly happy and satisfied?"

  Wrong. Here's what I posted in reply to your bolded statement.

  Because it's not sin to them; that concept exists in the mind of the believer.

  Also, if they're happy and satisfied, what's the problem exactly? Wouldn't a god of love want his children to be happy?

  Why would the Christ say "Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him." if he was "going to make it all good one day"?

  I don't know. Why don't you tell me your particular belief on it?

  I think it's a safe bet that the majority of christians believe in heaven or the afterlife, yes?

  Jehovah's Witnesses make sin (lying) their second nature.

  (Thus making themselves judges I quess because their sin is OK, but my sin is not OK).

  So by judging them as sinners, that makes you what exactly? How is what you believe now make you any better than any other christian, JW or otherwise? Or any other believer for that matter?

  Taking Christ's rightful place and lying is a sin.

  Enslaving human beings is a sin.

  Do you not see a pattern here Twitch?

  You all think your particular jesus is better than another's. You just traded your jesus doll for a kinder, gentler one more to your liking and at the same time, denounce other beliefs as false idol worshippers. Do YOU see a pattern here?

  Jehovah's Witnesses say "come with us. We are going to make Earth a paradise".

  Organized crime says to the pretty but poor ladies and gents of (pick your country) and say "come with us. The USA is a paradise". But it's not.

  Actually, all believers of the christ god believe he'll make it all good one day, whether in this world or the next, so what's the difference really? Semantics.

  They lie but they live with a good conscience . Actually they teach their idea of a good conscience is the ONLY way to a good conscience. SEE? I am introducing the possibility that they are at fault for leaving an easy way for badness. They suffer so the wicked man won't suffer. You said so yourself in your post;

  Did you knowingly lie to people about christ when you were a JW? I take it you think they do but it's fairly obvious to anyone who's been one that this is not the case. The average jojo believes what they have is truth. So do you.

  i hate doing this type of thread.

  none of us are perfect, least of all myself, and i would rather focus any criticism on the watch tower society for damaging people's lives.

  however, in the short period since i've been a member of this forum i've noticed one member in particular deteriorate in his behaviour into the type of individual who threatens to undermine the credibility of the entire website.

  now is a good time to start making preparations for the memorial night demonstration at your kingdom hall thursday, april 5, 2012, after sundown.. close to 20 million people will attend this annual global witness event including active witnesses, relatives and friends of witnesses, bible studies,return visits and still attached former witnesses.

  the evils of the watchtower org.have to be exposed and this is an ideal time to do it.. many around the world have been adversely affected by their association with jehovah's witnesses and you can be an instrumental force by standing tall and courageously exposing the watchtower organization.. there is no better way to let the watchtower know your revulsion than to broadcast and present your view by standing fearlessly, demonstrating in front of a kingdom hall.. i am fully aware that a handful of the internet therapists who post on this forum will not agree with this method of unmasking the watchtower.. those intolerant, contemptuous critics who will comment on this thread making harsh judgements and finding fault with those who protest are perhaps deep-down wishing they had the backbone to stop hiding in cyber-space, step away from their computer and "get out of the bleachers and into the game" .

  lets make this a global event!......

  What minimus said. Who gives a shite what this "activist" says? Does he speak for you? Did somebody vote him as the spokesperson for this board or former jws in general? Only bullies consider others cowards. To hell with this guy and what he thinks. He doesn't speak for me.

  People will listen to reason and will consider leaving of their own accord, not b/c of some nutjob activist. Keep the pepper spray away from this one BTW
