there is a way to "hack" the canon dslr's so that they get some amazing functionalities, such as taking a picture just by clapping (really cool for when you want to take a picture and no one is able to push the button) and taking pictures at certain intervals.. you can read more about this "hacking" on .

A tidal bore is a slowly moving standing wave node where a river current meets an ocean tidal current, the latter overcoming the former by a large margin in certain circumstances. There is only a tidal bore when the tide is coming in, not when it's going out, naturally.
I've been to the Bay of Fundy, St John's Reversing Falls, and a couple other places with similar phenomena.
Magnetic Hill in Moncton was cool but is only an optical illusion, albeit a good one.

It would stand to reason you cannot see Polaris, the North Star from the southern hemisphere more a few latitudes south of the earth's equator.
your pictures did not capture the rotation of the earth at all, but the rotation of your camera?
Since stars do not move (with respect to our timeframe) the photo is proof of the earth's rotation. The camera is static and moves with the earth, the exposures taken over a number of hours.

RE density wave theory.
It would seem that one study found no evidence supporting the theory and another is "likely" to salvage it if the team can fix the bugs in their method.
To settle the question, astronomers will need to produce more refined models and explore the regions in greater detail and in more galaxies.
Seems just a theory still and a ways to go before it's confirmed as law.

twich, I have been working FROM the astronomical tables, that were available in libraries, -[no need (or ability)* to post them]- and later from data available on line of asteroid and TNO orbits, all i did was found the hidden patterns, regularities sequences in the distances, the means, the excentricities. all amazingly related, no doubt caused by the the natural laws.
* remember my technical handicap: pushing 90, and pushing a 2 year old daughter in the stroller.

Theist proof of grand design? perhaps a hidden agenda in the back of my mind? Yes, I would like to elicit enlightened comments on that. my -self: I believe in a creator-worker, for I have struggled all my life with that in various ways. but I conceive the Creator or caring Creatriss as so superior, that any resulting structure, like the 10 planet regularity was a buid-in possibility from the first shove into action-time.

For an upcoming presentation at the local Astronomy society I am trying to prepare a striking handout. I have made multiple charts, ruler-like of the spacings in real proportion, about 1mm to the bode no.-- 10 mm for earth orbit. sun to pluto fits on a legal sheet.
IF you reverse these strips, it is striking that the lines [overlapp]* no, ALIGN again and again. So these notes are NODES areas where in a chladni plate, matter would congregate for lack of vibrations, and the system is TUNED.
Not vibrations, just classical mechanics doing it's job. Matter that begins in zones between what becomes planets eventually gets cleared out. There are no vibrations, there are no waves. Periodic relationships and distance ratios do not waves make.
Music of the spheres revisited.
I suspected as much. A classical concept and a poetic one but more pseudo than science. I hope you realize this.

If you mean orbital resonances, yes, there is something to it with respect to ratios but please pay attetion to terms; they are important.
As regards these being direct causes (assumed to be theist/deist influenced) that depends on your belief, which is only an opinion and not science, of course.

the lagrangian points 60 degrees, that is at the RADIUS distance, before and after Jupiter, the Trojan asteroids,( and other bodies) this is compatible with resonance NODES based on the orbit radius, (with its roots in the T&B idea) of course garvity is involved, but it seems to have a wave character.
Again with the waves thing, eh? You have some points that corroborate to certain facts, if in your usual cryptic style but you seem to have fascination with seeing waves where there are none.
Lagrange points and orbital resonances are based on gravity, classical mechanics, periodic relationships and ratios. Though waves are typically periodic in nature, these examples do not induce or are a result of wave propagation even if the latter is periodic. Nodes in physics are points on a standing wave and don't apply here.
If you have published peer reviewed references that say otherwise, please by all means, cite them. Otherwise, your musings are at best speculative, at worst, misleading.
