Creation or evolution don't know, wasn't there. And don't care.
So, what came out first of that primordial ooze anyway?
Man or Woman?
Did they crawl out of the primordial ooze at the same time?
If not, wouldn't there be problems?
And where did the first peice of matter come from to build the first protein?
Questions, questions, questions...Hmmm...
Peace

Evolution still bugs me
by Geronimo ini know there are a lot of threads on evolution and creation and i've read a few here and there.
how can complex systems arise of themselves in the face of entropy?
one evolutionist book i read used snowflakes to show this is possible.

Just a rant
by Geronimo ini like myself in a healthy way, i really do!
that's how my parents raised me.
but i wound up in a "i hate myself and i'm a miserable slimey worm that deserves to be annihilated" cult!

And a good rant at that, lol...Welcome to the board Geronimo. My wife and myself joined the org. in our late 20's (1984) and sometimes you ask yourself, or at least I do, how could I be so decieved? But I think for me it was a desire for a better life, I soon found out that wouldn't be found with the WTS, so we moved on. Enjoyed your rant, keep posting! Acadian

The Biggest Scam known to the Son of Man?
by shinobi1kinobi inafter two years of constant force conversion, many many boring meetings, at least one nervous breakdown and two broken hearts.
i have come to my own conclusions about the jw and the watchtower society.
not that different to many of your contributers on this site.

(just as most companies offer healthcare schemes in recognition of the worth of staff - or for the tax break :))
That's right their a company/corporation, and they recieve benifits and privileges from the State which according to the WTS teaching represents a part of the beast, and we are to have no part of. Question: Why is the WTS un-evenly yoked with un-believer's, as a corporation they recieve their authority, not from God, but the State that their incorporated in, it is the State's attorney general who has control of all corporations in their state. Really, by becomming a corporation their saying they want man as their ruler, rather than God, they have denigned God's power to protect them and their organization. Does God really need state protection? Does God who created all you see and can't see (if you believe in God) need the State to protect it's interest? No, but they do, because God is not with them. I don't care what they teach, truth or not, they have denigned the body of christ and become part of the body of the State. They are ANTICHRIST. Peace

Missing the friends left behind
by The wanderer inmissing the friends left behind
miss any of their friends that they left behind in the organization.
understandable in a way, why they feel the way they do.

I didn't leave any friends. But I've noticed the kingdumb hall parking lot has fewer cars in it. Acadian of the, doors open, come on in class

Are witnesses Christians?
by KW13 in.
i know that all religions have their flaws, so do you agree that witnesses should call themselves christians or are they 'too un-christian'?.
the baptism, i think proves its different, they are baptized into an organization, that forms part of the questions...agreeing that the society is god's earthly representation.. personally i feel they are not christians.

As Christian as any other church that's incorporated in the "State".
