How does the DF process begin??

question its seems like for the past 3 weeks by jw boyfriend stays.

after the bible meetings for a long time.

You guys are really nice here. I really do appricate all the advice
you all give. Here is the funny part.

He confessed but still smokes & drinks (that includes pot)he is still
trying to fornicate.

When I asked what does he do after the meeting he says the elder was
showing him scripture on marriage.?? Now that is interesting because
I have NO INTENTION on becoming a JW. So whats the point.?? He asked
me if I would like to talk to a a "sister" if I did that I would
only try to show her my findings and that would go no where. Its a
waste of time.

I have found so much scripture that I am now almost as good as any
witness flipping around my Bible. For everything they say I have at
least 4 scriptures to counter what they say.

I do agree that they are trying to keep him out, of course he deny's this. He claims that no one interfere's with your life unless you confess and needs to repent.He started talking about Lot. Until I said
"Dude are You LOT !!!" says my research is sh@# ! He makes me feel
foolish so thats why I am researching EVERY thing. Even the CRoss issue. (They say Jesus was nailed to a stake) there is tons of scripture that say the man was crucified. Gal 3:1 Mat 10:38 16:24
Lk 9:23 14:27 Gal 2:20 Gal 5:24 6:14 I could go on. But to what end ?
I just hate not knowing the bible forwards & backwards like him, so I do my research. Anyway I guess I will go surf eat the leftovers and who knows.

And no I do not have kids and I am well under 40 yahoooooooo..I still have time to enjoy the good life. = )

Question its seems like for the past 3 weeks by JW boyfriend stays
after the bible meetings for a long time. Last week they kept him
almost till 11 at nite. He has let me know he is leaving at the
end of the month.

What do they do after these meeting? He claims they want to "talk"
with him. Do they do this every week until you do what is expected ?
Is he on his way to being kicked out ?

He makes damn sure the continues to attend these meeting like 3 times a week (including sunday)?

I promised him I would not bring up anything more about the Watchtower or the hall because it always leads to him getting
upset.

Does anyone out there know what is going on..Dinner is already cold
and its 10 pm ?? =(

hi, i need some advice from those here who may have gone before me in a situation similar to this.

i have to explain the problem first so bear with me please :).

i've posted a few times before briefly explaining my current situation.

I dont know much about JW but they should give you the letter back.
My boyfriend is 27 and is going thru something similar. Tonite
he went to a meeting and is still there getting grilled about his
living arrangements with me.

I wish he was stronger like you but he is falling for the "elders needed to talk" routine.

But back to your letter. 1st I would request it be returned because it doesnt belong to them. Maybe the only way to get it back is to go see what they want. Then again if they get a hold of you they may just
scare you into repenting and staying. Hopefully some on this board
can help you. I am not a witness and have no knowledge outside of the
fact my so called live in boyfriend experience. They are driving him
MAD.

is becoming more & more intolerable, this fool has now taken.

to sleeping on the sofa and thinks he will be able to get a apartment.

with horrible credit.. i am trying not to become bitter and mean but its very hard, to see a grown man whine about his "soul" and the more i think about it.

How dare he let the JW clan come between us, I feel angry hurt and betrayed, I know this will pass but in the mean time what the heck
and I suppose to do with his simple minded self is in this apartment.

I personally have sacrified so much to try to help him with his faults
I gave up dating for 4 years !! Now I have to find another guy court
him for a few years and try to figure out what problems he may have.

I think the JW are a bunch of home wreckers ! We I guess I could look on the bright side....I needed to leave him anyway. but I am still
upset my this nonsense of fornaction and the whole WATCHTOWER DOCTRINE !!

You are correct that fornication is a sin. did you read my post.
I CAN NOT MAKE HIM DO SOMETHING HE DOESNT WANT TO. and if he chooses
not to them he WILL leaving. Life is too short to waste time
trying to convince someone to do research. I am a grown woman and there is NO WAY I would convert before doing research. He was raised
that way and NEVER looked into the religion.

He has his doubts but refuses to look into the organzition. That is blind. now here is some scripture for you. (unless you are too afraid)

I understand. Thanks for all the kind information. "humble" appears to be somewhat judgemental.

I would like to be married but to a man that is secure, confident and
has his own mind.

Not to mention that if my so called boyfriend wanted to marry me.
HE would have done it. While we have lived together for 3 years I
have been with him for about 6 years. Personally I think that he is
hiding behind his so called religion as a cop out for not get married
to me.

He just started going back to the hall this year. and its effecting
him in a major way. Once he leaves (its my place) I will get on with
my life. I am just upset that he called me a NON believer. and I do believe in GOD just not the JW doctrine. I attend church on a regular
and he will not join me at the Baptist church I attend, even though I
have accompany'd him to a Sunday "meeting" and even a strange memorial service.

I was only looking for help.

I understand that we are both fornicators, however I cant make him
marry me and he will not unless I convert, but I cant convert to something I dont feel comfortable with.

I care about him and I understand that he must leave. Its just
sad that he feels like he must confess, I tried to get him to
look at the information I have found but he refuses.

Its really sad to see him cry & vomit when I started to share this
information about the JW founders and the Watchtower. He needs to be
strong in whatever faith he chooses. I am faced with something
I already knew. He is weak, insecure and easly influnenced.
and that is not someone that would make a good husband anyway, but
it still hurts me to see him feel so bad, If a religion brings you
so much pain why would you even want to be in it. but he was raised
that way.

I was just hoping that someone out there has went thru this and could
offer me some sound advice.

As far sin we all are sinners in some sort of way, but I am not a bible thumper.so please save yourself rightesous comments for someone

I have always been supportive & respectful in regards to his choices.
I think they told him I was evil or something..Is this common practice
? What happens when a Elder wants to talk ?!
