  well, my sil and best friend came to this site on my recommendation (jw).

  i just wanted her to check it out without judgement as we have always been able to talk about everything.

  she basically was disgusted, said it was full of crap and lies and would never look at it again.

  Help with Kittens

  let me start by saying that i am a huge animal lover.

  i have a dog, a cat and i recently lost a cat who was very old.

  yesterday, my fiancee was working on his house and as he was doing "demo work", he found a nest of kittens.

  Unfortunatly your doc is probably right. If you can take them to work with you they do stand a better chance and just like with a human baby plan on being up most of the night too, hopefully you can get your hubby to help you out with that

  i have lived in mexico for almost two years.

  i have always been fascinated by languages so when i retired from the state of washington at age 50 and had the opportunity so go to college i majored in spanish.

  i didn't go to college when i was young for the usual dub reason.

  i was never allowed to play sports, because it would be too much association with worldly people.

  no skating, dance class, racquet ball, softball, nothing.

  in my kingdom hall, only the "spiritually weak" played sports.

  when i was about 16 i had a terrible crush on an older lady (she might have been 30) who was the lovliest person ever.

  she had poise, confidence, intelligence, wit, appreciation and culture.

  i was just a skinny, shy, geeky kid that she took under her wing.

  i've just been to a big conference where we discussed retention of members and statistically lds lose most members (in the uk anyway) as follows: .

  1/ 14 -18 (largest group) - i think it was 30% .

  2/ new converts (next largest) - in the front door and straight out the back.

  Around here I would say that the WTS is leaking at the start. Fewer children of JWs getting baptized and drfiting away when they reach 18, if they do get baptized, due to family pressure, they get caught up in smoking, drugs, immorality and end up being df'd.

  I fell into the got baptized and the went crazy category.

  so does anyone like to collect things, such as stamps, or figurines, cards, pottery or whatever?

  i am a person who is a little pack rat, and i must admitt i have some cool collections, such as a my 1920 royal doulton minature toby's and waterford crystal wine glassses.

  i have alot of pottery and earthenware that i also enjoy.

  I firmly believe it is every boys birthright to find his old-mans Playboy stash

  My husband has a collection of those too going on 4 years worth now . by the time our boys are old enough to read them Im sure it will be quite a large library

  I collect Fiestaware or at least I did before the kids started breaking it all the time. (Note to self : put a lock on the china cabinet)

  what excuse could anyone possibly have as to why they're not attending the 2 hours + of boring bullshit partaking of spiritual food this morning??

  as for me, i have a perfectly valid excuse: i'm doing laundry and baking banana bread this morning.

  what are you doing sunday morning instead of being told you're not doing enough in god's service?

  My husband MADE me go see the Rocky Horror Picture Show in the middle of the night last night and now I feel yucky (insert fake cough here) because I didnt get any sleep and I think that horrible(awsome) movie scarred me for life
