Hi Bookey. Nice to make your acquaintance.
When I was a teen, out in the "service", I was offered a Hustler magazine......does that help?
i want to hear as many ideas as possible for items/gifts of mercy to hand out to witnesses when they knock at the front door.
to be fair, in exchange for their wonderful literature that is the "truth", i think it fair to return the favor with some "truth" items of our own as a gift to them!
any suggestions?

hello my name is isthisit and i have a confession to make, i'm an active jw and not happy.
i am a lurker here and have to start posting.
i am 22 and have been "born and raised" as well as being 4th generation.
Welcome to the board, isthisit. You can let it all out here....be yourself.
over the years here on the forum...i have read with interest many da letters.
brave people!!
not so brave.
Awesome letter, Cathy!! Keep us posted......
.
i have a reasonable singing voice .
i find that i am really good with technology, i learn that stuff quickly.
I love to cook, and try new recipes. I also like to paint, when I have some free time. I love interior decor and design..............I think I missed my calling.
with all the threads, all the responses and comments, it is nearly impossible sometimes to follow-up on everything you read or write.
more then ever, if threads get real large, you have a hard time figuring out who is responding to whom.
so with this in mind, ever let off a bomb with one of your comments and not even follow up and until much later, not even realizing it happened?
No, but once I let a bomb off in my car, and drove up to a road check. The police officer didn't let his head linger inside my window for too long.
...........................boy, was I embarrassed.
I get busy cleaning. Seriously. So you see, I'm never bored around my house.
If it's enjoyable, and loving, with a little fun thrown in for good measure, I think the society wants to put a lid on it. The R&F can't be having any sexual pleasure, you know. Especially when the old men in Bethel are being busy-bodies busy following bible principles. (and not "gettin' any)
i am amazed at the almost complete polarization between cat and dog lovers.. .
i know few who love both.. .
cat lovers argue that cats are more intelligent than dogs.
ROFLMAO........Sparky......
we all know witnesses believe in the paradise.
they make it seem like it will be such a beautiful place free of crime, pollution, sadness, etc.
but, if there was really going to be a paradise here on earth the world as we know it would be so different.
I would definitely miss the world as we know it....all the modern conveniences. I don't wanna wash my clothes in the river on rocks......too much like work!!
I wouldn't miss the cost of travel, but I'd miss the trains............I love travelling by train.
I'd miss the telephone, not that I use it much, but MSN and e-mails are only so good. It's nice to hear the voices of those we love, who live so far away.
I'd miss a lot.

I also, love both cats and dogs. However, that being said, I much prefer a cat, as it does not need to go for a walk, and it doesn't gobble an entire weeks worth of food at one sitting, like a dog would. ( if you go away, the cat is pretty much self-sufficient).
My husband does not like cats, at all, although he relented a few years ago, and we got a Siamese cat from the animal rescue. He was beautiful, but we later found out why he was given up.....he had epilepsy. We loved him regardless of his ailment.
We now have a Boxer......like having a small horse in the house, but she's beautiful.
