did that mentality keep you in fear and prevent you from leaving?
how many times were we told that the kingdom halls would be our ark and that we needed to keep going to the meetings so that we wouldnt miss the announcement that the great tribulation was beginning and the doors of the ark were closing...even though the bible says nobody knows the day or the hour?
did any of you ever pray for your relatives to die so they would have a ressurection and not be destroyed at armageddon?
I was so fed up with the gossip, backstabbing and general BS of the org that I didn't want to be in Jah's New System whether it came or not..
I'm with Lilybird.....then I began to read, and delve into the UNspiritual things of the society, and I realized they do not have the truth. They wouldn't know truth, if it steamrolled right over them! That's why they keep changing their minds on things, continually, over the years.....the light gets brighter....GAG ME....
i got another email from merry today and she told me i could pass on this info...... .
her mom is in the hospital now, preparing to die.
they are making her comfortable.

Well Jeff.....I'd have to describe myself as the mighty oak tree. After the grief my supposed JW family puts me through each year.... They phone me for advice with all their problems, rarely take it, never thank me,never visit, then turn around and tell me I need to come back to the organization, because I'm going to die at armageddon.
I'm more happier than they are, and they're still "in the truth", with their drinking problems and family woes, and their" I'm not good enough for Jehovah", boo-hoo's.
Yup, I'm the mighty oak.....can't wait till the fall, when I can drop my leaves and hibernate for the winter.....

why don't bakeries deliver at night like pizza hut? LOL Maybe it's a good thing they don't deliver.....although Jenny Craig would reap the rewards of it, if I ordered out too many times.

it seems like i've grieved for so long.
I've found that when you're getting weary with grieving, it often means you're starting to recover from it.
