  my mother in law was diagnosed with breast cancer in october.

  had the surgery and they found it metastized to the lungs.

  she is doing chemotherapy now, but the cancer is spread pretty wide and thus an organization called making memories has given her a one last wish grant of $6000.

  what, if anything, makes circumcision less of a mutilation than fgm?.

  The hygene reason is a valid one. Ask a nurses aid in a nursing home if they prefer to take care of uncircumcised residents or circumcised ones.

  *shudder*......My eldest son was born prematurely, so we were told to wait until the time of his actual due date, before we booked him in to be circumcised. We sat down the hall, in the waiting room, while they did it, and when we heard his cries, both my husband and I wished we hadn't put him through it.

  When my youngest son was born, my husband and I couldn't decide to have him done or not, after our experience with our oldest son. By the time we saw the specialist, he was too big, and we were told to bring him back in a year's time, when they could put him out to do it.

  Needless to say, he was never circumcised and he's never had any problems. It doesn't bother him that he "looks" different than his brother or his father.

  Now, (here in Ontario), for the last few years, you have to pay for it to be done, our O.H.I.P doesn't cover it anymore.

  hi, everyone ---.

  claire asked me to let the board know that ian is back in the hospital and expected to be there for about a week.. those of you who have been following the weekly vigil thread know that his cmv has returned.

  the virus is not responding adequately to the tablets, so ian needs to be medicated intravenously.. please keep ian and claire in your prayers.. marjorie.

  Sirona & DB74 are having a Baby!

  for those that know us and that have been following our jwd love story...we cannot contain the news any longer, we have known now for over two weeks but wanted to wait until we had the last early pregnancy scan to confirm everything was ok. .

  today we witnessed a miracle in the making and the ultimate in creativity - the scan confirmed a strong heartbeat and considerable growth since the last scan a fortnight ago.. we are going to be parents .
