  Sharing my sad news with you

  my great nephew, 8 months old, was killed yesterday.

  so far appears to have been murdered by his sitter, a couple with whom my nephew and his girlfriend have been living.

  they beat and drowned this little baby.

  i'm just sat working on a new version of the forum (to bring it more up-to-date and make it better for non-ie browsers) and notice the date on the first post of the backup database that i'm working against ... 23 march 2000.. i can't believe it's been 8 years !

  Would You Really Want To Live Forever With Dubs?

  here is the hypothetical question of the day - would you, or more appropriately, could you live forever in paradise on earth with jw's?

  with the hypocrosy, silly elders, silly people... feeding lions and cleaning up after animals... everyone living by waterfalls, like the jw's always portray in they're psychotic pamphlets..... or would you rather be dead.

  i, personally, would much rather be dead.

  Favorite Ice Cream

  i'm just wondering what everyone's favorite brand and type of ice cream is.

  i recently have been able to eat dairy products after having my gall bladder removed.

  i always thought i was lactose intolerant, but all along it was my g.b.

  I'm not much of an ice cream lover, but I've discovered "Our Compliments" brand ice cream, and it's called "Bear Claw".

  It has chocolate covered cashews and creamy caramel laced throughout a velvetty chocolate ice cream.

  ....* Dee goes to the freezer to get some....* it's SOOooo good...

  BB... that's the only other ice cream that I really enjoy!! YUMMO!

  how do you deal with bullies?

  my daughter is in 6th grade.. i know from personal experience when i was in jr high that kids can be really mean.

  i used to come home crying everyday.

  i was told that i was ugly and i would never get married.

  A friend of mine recently told me that her daughter has been bullied at school by other girls, because she is a little chunky too. These girls are 6 and 7 year olds.

  She has talked with the teachers about it, but it continues. So my friend has offered to come to class and speak to them herself about bullying. I have yet to hear the results.

  Loosie, have you talked with the parents of these bullies? Not that it would matter much anyways, most parents don't give a damn what their kids are doing anymore.

  It doesn't get any better the older they get either, unfotunately, and the girls are worse than the boys anymore. It's disgusting!!

  Best of wishes to your sweet little one. Sometimes life and other kids suck!!

  from the very first introductions to strangers we were reminded, (for a good witness to god of course)=(wt) that yes.

  indeed i am one of jehovah's witnesses.

  even as a fully dedicated believer through the merits of my own workmanship i might add i did not see that my religion.

  I'm wondering if this is becoming the norm for other religions as well, because the same thing happened at a friend's funeral this past summer.

  He was Dutch Reform, and the minister said the same thing, only he actually said, "I'm not going to talk about Bob, I'm going to talk about God and his love for each and every one of you here today". and he did not talk about my friend....

  I glanced at my husband and whispered, "Did I just hear that? Are we at a witness funeral?"
