  when my mom-in-law wanted copies of the research i had done, i naiively hoped that because she has always harbored doubts she would respond positively.

  they came to dinner last night.

  she told me she is upset that i am so hurt and upset.

  It makes it very clear that it is the WTS that is being worshipped, not big J who is supposed to be able to read your innermost heart and mind. "Just fake your belief until the thing you don't believe in comes to pass" Unbelieveable. Talk about cognitive dissonance.

  Yeah, no doubt. I can't believe how many people "in the truth" say this...

  ....and I've wondered the same thing. "Do you people not realize who you're serving? Cause you know God reads the heart and would know that someone was faking it...DUH!"

  for a small, discreetly placed, tastefull tatoo?.

  i'm thinking of my children's initials in celtic letters intertwined, no larger than a fifty cent priece, on the left side of my upper back (shoulder).

  would only be visible in a bathing suit.. i'm 48 .. what do you guys honestly think?.

  what religion are you now?

  i'm sure this has been asked a million times before but since leaving the witnesses what religion (or lack thereof) have you chosen for yourself?

  and what is it about that religion that attracted you?

  since leaving the witnesses i think i no longer believe in god, not out of anger, actually i think i like the idea of him more since i don't believe in him anymore.

  I don't feel guilty if I miss church or feel like I'm a weak member in the congregation, sometimes I need to be elsewhere with my family and that's okay.

  See, this is why I haven't gone to any other church....I will not allow another religion to make me feel guilty, or unworthy, ever again.

  So, I'm not any religion.
