For a small, discreetly placed, tastefull tatoo?
I'm thinking of my children's initials in celtic letters intertwined, no larger than a fifty cent priece, on the left side of my upper back (shoulder). Would only be visible in a bathing suit.
I'm 48 .
What do you guys honestly think?
I know people in their 50's who have gotten tattoos. I believe that you should do what you want to do.

If after a year, you still want it, go ahead.
There are some "old" thirtysomethings out there.

As crazy as I am on the inside, I'm rather "lady like" on the outside. Would the tatoo be a contradiction?

One suggestion. Get a temporary tatoo similar to what you want first in the place you want the permanent. Wear it for a few days... just to make sure you like it.
