The CO was giving a talk about fighting in the home and then coming to the kh acting nice and pleasant...well my child raised his hand (we were sitting in the front) then he pointed at me. I tried to act as if I didnt see him hoping he would put his hand down. but he kept pointing so i smiled and put he hand down...the rest of the meeting seemed like an eternity

Potty Mouths?
by Low-Key Lysmith inwhen i got out of the dumbs, i use to cuss non-stop i think as a pathetic tactic to make worldy people think i was a little more worldy.
i still swear from time to time, and foul language does not offend me at all, but i was talking to my sister the other day, she just turned 21, has discovered alcohol, is currently on public reproof, and i think is really close to being on her way out herself.
she cursed like a sailor the whole time i was talking to her.

Yes, but i've been told that i don't sound right. The use of cuss words must sound natural for it to have a real effect.

my point is that when you are looking for employment you should give it your all. If you want certain hours or will only travel so far, be honest. It's a waste of your time and the employer's time when you lie or misrepresent yourself. I'm very honest about the job. But i can't read minds, i don't know everything a person might be interested in knowing, thats why it's good to ask questions. I had an interview today she was 30 minutes late i told her that she was late and i could not interview her.

Does the WTS disfellowship mentally challenged people?
by Elsewhere in.
has anyone ever seen a situation where the wts disfellowhiped someone who is autistic, retarded or otherwise mentally challenged?.
i wonder if the elders give them more leeway knowing that they are not always capable of making decisions as well as a normal person.. .

Yes, I remember when i was a kid a brother in my KH was df'd and he had a mental problem. he would do all kinds of weird things..like make up his own territory for fs..etc etc...i don't know why he was df'd though.

I was unemployed. Now I'm employed. I'm in a position that allows me to hire people. Everyday i come home worn out. At first i tried to have some compassion because i know what it is like to be unemployed. I can't believe that lack luster attitudes I'm getting. Example: A lady sent me a resume regarding a position that requires certification. She told me that she was certified. When I asked her if she could give me a copy of her certification . I found out that she lied. I had a position for her but her start date would be on the 4th of July. She declined because of the holiday, but asked me to consider her for another position.(wtf?)
Very few people come to their interview on time, and then act as if it's no big deal that they are late (wtf!) Most act as if you owe them something.
People will call and bugg the hell out of me for a job when i ask them about preference of time and location they reply " none, i'll work anytime, anywhere" so I'm like "great! this is the time and this is the location" the reply "ummm thats too far and those hours won't work for me"
thanks for listening, i'm just venting

My sister wrote me a letter telling me how she's going to all her meetings. She has two personal bible studies a week, goes to two book studies a week plus all the other meetings. First of all my sister was a drug addict. She says she is now drug free, smoke free, and she no longer curses.
I'm glad she has cleaned her life up. But in my opinion...going to all these meetings and doing all of this studying with the JW's is just another addiction. She's over doing it...Just like with her former addictions. The thing is nobody has told her to slow down and be more balanced....whoever is studying with her is probably bragging to all the other JW's about all the progress she is making. I bet they havent even thought about the fact that she is a recovering drug addict. Addicts have a hard time dealing with reality and being balanced. Anything can become an addiction, even religion. but they don't care. All her study conductor probably cares about is the field service time she gets to report.

I remember the day i bought my first Gucci purse...i was like sixteen i was working a summer job and my first big check i went straight to the Gucci shop. They put it in this beautiful green shopping bag, that was the best shopping bag ever (i saved it for years) I felt like a had finally made it to the fashion world. Now looking back i can't believe i spent all that damn money on a simple bag that looked like a child stiched it. ( sad to say a child probably did)
