  you know, its a very bizarre thing that happened today and i thought it best to warn you all.

  especially since some of you are fighting the battle of the bulge and dieting as am i.. you see, its been about two months since i went on this diet, and its gone along pretty well so far.

  ive managed to eliminate 22 lbs.

  Technically all diets should be supervised. But 1200 (+/-) calories is usually the minimum per day needed to keep your body from moving into "starvation" mode. Below a certain calorie count your body become more adept at burning fewer calories...hence the need to stay slightly to moderately above that. I'm not a nutritionist but that is the "generally accepted guidelines".

  hello all, i've been reading your site for a couple of years now, and have found, for the most part, it to be very helpful.

  i must say, at first i was very "scared" at what i might find, but contrary to what i grew up learning, there is a "wealth" of information outside of the watchtower organization.

  i haven't attended meetings for about two years now, and like many i've read about, have spent many hours researching, telling myself "i'm not wrong for searching", and doing more research.

  Jeannie....remember fats make our bodies "feel" full. It also works it's magic on the tongue. 19 grams is really too low IMHO. I would try to stay between 25 to 30 grams at a minimum. Even at 30 grams x 9 calories per gram is only 270 calories per day from fat. If you are sticking to your 1200 to 1500 calorie plan then this is about 20% of your calories.

  Furuli is a Witness apologist but is also a (AN) academically qualified scholar who is qualified to publish an opinion. All scholars have their own theological viewpoint and some may even belong to a cult or sect. The majority are from one of Christendoms (TRY 'S) religions or Judaism so all scholars indeed admit to some bias. So what.( ? NOT . ) It is up to the intelligent reader to make his (THEIR) own decisions on these matters and (AS SUCH ) should read widely in order to reduce the influence of such inherent bias.
  
  Obviously you have a bias against me because I seek to defend Wt theology and chronology, ( TRY ; ) nothing I can ................... For starters, if Leolaia wants to be considered as an academic then she should act as one. She should identify herself and state her academic qualifications if she is fair dinkum.

  Um....I watch actors to ACT. I listen to doctors about medical issues. I listen to religious leaders for spiritual matters. I listen to politicians about politics. And listen to musicians for their music. When one of them tries to do another's job...I ignore it. Nuff said.

  Anything worth seeing in Boston?

  i'm going to boston, ma for 5 days (6-11th of july) to a conference held at the mit.

  so i'll be staying in cambridge actually, but it seems to be adjacent to boston.

  on one of the days i'm supposed to give a presentation, but i should also have a day or two off for sightseeing.

  Also.... Check out Chinatown in Boston. That might be fun for you. I also like to walk around in BackBay area of town. They have lots of great food and shops. But the campus areas of MIT, Cambridge and Harvard are quite nice to with pubs and whatnot to have a beer. Oh, by the way Gay Head isn't really gay....just it's name. You'll be in Boston right after July 4th which is our Independance Day....so I'm sure there will be lots of parades and live music in the parks all week during that 4th of July week.

  apparently, nasa is going to blow a stadium sized hole in a comet on the 4th of july.

  the spacecraft doing this will be named "deep impact"; apparently the fact that it has the same name as a dooms-day movie is only a "coincidence".
