  Free-will V.S predestiny

  it's been a long-long time since i shared any deep thoughts on religion... so please bear with me.

  i was fishing this morning...since they weren't biting it gave me time to ponder;.

  one of the concepts that caused me to leave the x-tian faith is the conundrum that boggles my mind when i consider free-will.. i've made the argument in the past that adam didn't have any free-will in the garden of eden.

  Kinesiology - what is the current stand? (Any elders?)

  i don't feel like pretending i have genuine concern to go to a local elder and ask ... so i ask you .... what is the deal with kinesiology as far as jws?

  the 94 wt where they talk about it sounds generally like the answer is no.

  everything i read about the origins are traced back to some chiropractor who supposedly had occult origins ... .

  The WTBS has pretty much demonized anyone who has specific skills greater than their own. Scientists = tools of Satan. Doctors = Blood Transfusion Worshippers. Psychiatry professionals = Vampires. Lawyers = scoundrels.
  The society blasts these folks as weak humans schooled in the way of Satan. Isn't God better? This tightens the control. Demean the people most likely to help Dub's. Why do you think there are so many "alternative" med worshipping Dubs? The society tells them that doctors & nurses know nothing and cannot be trusted. They act as if when you go in for a check up the doctor is going to try and give you a blood transfusion.

  hello all, i've been reading your site for a couple of years now, and have found, for the most part, it to be very helpful.

  i must say, at first i was very "scared" at what i might find, but contrary to what i grew up learning, there is a "wealth" of information outside of the watchtower organization.

  i haven't attended meetings for about two years now, and like many i've read about, have spent many hours researching, telling myself "i'm not wrong for searching", and doing more research.

  i wanted to post another topic but this morning my girlfriend got this email that frightened a hell out her.

  a friend of hers from europe says that she visited this breast cancer symposium; there she asked one of speakers why it is that most of cancers start underneath arms around armpit area.

  speaker later cautiously replied in private that it was because of aluminum chlorhydrate which is frequently found in anti-perspirants for women.

  Also...let's not forget who else makes money on selling drugs. Look around the pharmacy next time you drive by one. On one corner their is a CVS and right across the street is a Walgreens, and possibly a 3rd one all at the same intersection.

This was achieved while opening 85 new stores in the quarter. Walgreens operated 391 more stores at the end of the quarter versus a year ago.
  Prescription sales, which accounted for 65 percent of total sales in the quarter, climbed 14.0 percent. Prescription sales in comparable stores rose 10.2 percent in the quarter.
  Gross profit margins were up 94 basis points versus the year-ago quarter to 27.85 as a percent to sales.
  We had another terrific quarter with improved gross margins and higher than expected prescription numbers and non-pharmacy sales," said Chairman and CEO David Bernauer.

  One additional thing to keep in mind...if you are going to demonize "big pharma" I hope you don't have any of their stocks in your 401K, IRA's, or stock fund holdings? Hmmm......
  Of course drug companies have their share of blame. But patients are just as guilty as drug companies when they go into their doctors and demand certain name branded drugs.
  It's like the folks who demonize big SUV's and the Enquirer. Somebody's buying it. The drug companies are providing a drug people want to buy. Do we need 3 errection meds? I guess if the market will bear the costs of 3 drugs the answer is yes.
