this u.n. delegation has now given iran the "eleventh hour warning" which they will laugh at.
soon it will be brought before the u.n. security counsel and a recommendation to impose sanctions against iran will be made and voted upon.

Personally I think closure is bullshite...but hey what do I know.
However, that being said I have told all the people in "da troof" exactly what I feel. I wrote my parents a 7 page letter telling them how I really felt. It took a month to write that letter because I wouldn't be able to finish it without getting angry or crying. 18 months later I am so happy I did. So whatever it takes to say the things you need to say...DO IT! We all have bit our tongues, minded our mouths, and waited on Jehoba....it felt nice to finally get angry and say WHAT I FELT.
To the current elder that I had slept with many times in the past I berated him for his callous disregard. I told him I didn't feel bad at all about what went on between us as I really cared for him and I knew he did likewise but hid behind his religion and was pushing his sexuality down. He went out and married someone after know her for 6 months. Closet case. LOL
Also, this being said....be prepared that nothing will change. My parents act as if the letter didn't exist. But I have spoken my peace....now it's up to them to figure out what to do with this. Sorry if I'm rambling. -

I was in Oakland, CA for a work dealio for 3 days. At the end of the day when I'm at the hotel, I'm walking down to the bellman to find out where a certain address was, and there were two attrative women in their early 30's asking the bellman for dining suggestions. As he's going down the list he mentions the new French - Vietnamese fusion bistro that just opened 2 blocks away. The two gals turn to each other and one says "French food mixed with Vietnamese food? Never heard of that. How weird. Why would you open a French / Vietnamese place?" (Spoken in my best OMG Valley Girl Voice) I busted up laughing and kept walking past. I couldn't believe what I just heard. Sad! -

How Do We See Others On A Discussion Board?

on a discussion board we can and do get into things that may get heated at times, but most of us can usually agree to disagree and be done with it, dignity and feelings intact.
some folks have done some "bad" things and have dealt with them or in the process of doing so.

There's a major "goings on" one of the other JW boards....but this poster was unbelievable. She was a biatch on wheels. It can be male or female. I think sometimes people forget sitting in front of a keyboard that what they say has real impact and can hurt. Of course with the limitations of written word sometimes sarcasm is lost on people and taken too seriously as well.
But by and by I think people behave relatively well. But there are some bad apples.
