i am hoping a little balance is allowed here, or at least the coin's flip side.

this is my story so far, but i am fairly sure it is going to end up a bit differently than most i have read on your site.

the brothers couldn't help my husband, he didn't want help.

Their intentions are to stay in a position of power and abuse the flock. They have cavalierly allowed brothers in Malawi to die for a political card, yet allowed Mexican brothers bribe officials on their cards. They know their stand on blood is now unsound medically. Instead of owning up to their responsibility they choose to "look good" instead. Many more will die of this policy. The GB knows this but does not care. Image is more important than accurate knowlege. The ivory tower thinking they have continues to cause great harm.

A drunk driver that gets into a car crash had no intentions of hurting anyone when he/she got behind the wheel. Tell the victims family that the drunk didn't have any evil intentions. Think that makes them feel better? But you see, the GB is WORSE, because they know their decisions will cause death and yet continue with their actions. What these men do in the name of God makes me sick.

JV...yes I was being sarcastic...but only to a point. At what point does an organization get branded evil? One unnecessary death? 5? 50? 1,000? 5,000? 50,000? At what point does the mental tortue differ? At what point of robbing people of Jesus command of love does it become manipulative and cruel? Is a person who kills 5 people worse than one who kills 10? They are both bloodguilty in my opinion!

I was openly mocked at an elder's meeting for going to college. They laughed and said that "this old system wouldn't last long enough for me to get my 4 year degree, why bother? You are really showing Jehoba where your priorities lay. Showing I wasn't wanting to pioneer showed that I didn't TRUST Jehoba".

JV I agree the Nazi comment was over the top. The Nazi's simply killed many Witnesses. The WTBS has slowly dismantled their members bit by bit. Causing emotional and mental damage. They have sapped their soul. Killed their desire to go on. Blinded them to Jesus command to love one another. They have stolen their lives. Witnesses giving up any current life for the b.s. promise of a grander life somewhere beyond. All based on lies. So I agree with you JV.....the WTBS is worse! Thanks for clarifying this for us JV :)

If you are at peace by all means run back. I just don't understand how you could possibly overlook all their dogma shortcomings? How can it be the "truth" when they are wrong on so many things. How can you easily dismiss their disconnects. How will you treat a DF'd person for disagreeing with their teachings? If the lack of a hell is your main concern there are many religions that don't belief in it. Have you REALLY bothered to look for other religions/spirituality? Taoism, buddhism, 7th Day Adventism, Bahai, and many others have "no hell". So because the Dub's don't have a hell you are willing to overlook:

Blood doctrine flip flops
607 / 587 cover up
UN NGO scandel
Russell's original "prophesies based on pyramidology"
The twisting of John 1:1 and mistranslation
Failed 1975 (1914, 1925, among other years)
Failed end of the world within a generation (changed yet again)
Jesus's teachings of love
Cover up of child abuse

If you can overlook these I guess maybe you will be a great Dub. Just pray you don't knock on my door and have to defend these.

Well have fun going to your 5 meetings a week. You sounded miserable in the truth. You sound miserable out of the truth. You'll just be miserable back in the truth.
