  for example: we had a 'faithfull' brother getting older and confused.

  when something did not really went as he liked it (didn't get the answer etc) he shouted very loudly 'god doom me in the hell!

  one time i had to do the closing prayer on the midweek meeting.

  There was an older childless couple in the congo...he was probably 65 ish at the time and I think getting mentally ill. There was a local needs talk about something or other. This brother raises his hand and says "I'm tired of all these little ones running around the KH saying shit, damn, hell, f*^k, and other cuss words". The speaker was completely blown away.....as if he was thinking to himself "he didn't really just say that outloud did he?" LOL

  I would not be so bold as to say what a child abuse victim must feel. If one of them would care to enlighten us then thank you, but I do not expect an answer as they have suffered enough first hand and this is a "clinical" excercise at this point for you and I Q. "Would you feel justice was served better if your purpetrator was castrated?"

  Q...it's not a point of castration or nothing. It's jail time....and jail time for a child molestor in this country isn't pleasant from what I understand. Other prisioners have a special place in hell for them. In fact the guys that have been castrated have actually been allowed out of prison SOONER. And paroles LIFTED because of this option.
  
  It's one thing to "FEEL" good about a procedure yet quite a different one to "KNOW" whether it's effective.

  Q....you want vengenence not justice. The same arguments were made when they cut the hands off of thieves who stole. In this country we have a clause in the constitution against cruel and unusual punishments.
  
  As a doctor I would never carry out a castration. Do no harm. Besides it's not a "cure". From the various things I've read on the matter voluntary castration whether chemically or surgically simply allows a prisioner early release. Castration doesn't stop the thoughts these guys have. It simply reduces their sex drive. Q, what stops these guys from optaining synthetic testosterone on the internet. Spend 15 minutes looking and you can find synthetic hormones availabe for about $ 200 for a month's supply. What about women child abusers?
  
  Sorry but the days of chopping off someone's balls, or hands, or a lobotomy belong in the dark ages. Good grief !

  my dog and i were watching "church of the rock" this morning on t.v.

  my dog goes in for that sort of stuff, so i humor him.

  he's only 10 weeks old, so i don't really chap his ass too much about it, yet.. anyways, the preacher was talking about how christianity is like the "adventure" of a life time.

  I've heard so many Witnoids tell me "Well if I was in the world, I'd be screwing girls every night, swearing like a sailor, lying, cheating, and probably stealing to". I always found this incredulous that the only thing keeping these jag bags from being a shite stick was "da troof". And they were serious about this.

  Totally screwed up.

  hi, its been a few months since i last visited the forum and to be honest in that time my life has just continued to go downhill, does it ever get any easier guys, i have been so close to ending it all a few times and dont know how much longer i can take the anquish and pain which i feel every day !!!!!!!!.

  i now have no job, no friends, and no desire to fight anymore, i sit here day after day just wanting to sleep so that the mental pain will go away and yet i want peace so much.. my old mum who turns 80 next month, and who has been a witness for 50 years, has been so hurt by the events that led to my dissasociation she has now stopped going to the kingdoom hall, but i can see how sad and confused she is and i feel i have caused her great hurt in her later years, she has a bad heart and looks so worn down, i am worried sick she may pass away in this condition and this is tearing me apart also.

  you might remember i lost my job after 28 years after being bullied and putting in a claim of harrasment, i then started up my own business and 10 witnesses worked for me, the lies and deceit was beyond words and in the end i had to close most of the business down, after that it was only myself and a non witness friend who were working together.

  Statements like this scream you are suffering from a massive depressive episode. Please seek mental help TODAY. Pick up the phone NOW and get some help. You need someone to talk to and probably antidepressant therepy as well. You need more help than this board can offer you. Please take my advice seriously and get someone to talk to !

  I still don't need to shave every day so not really an issue for me. I have every other day at most sometimes only twice a week. But every once in a while I'll grow a goatee. I hate shaving...so if I needed to shave every day I'd probably grow a short, trimmed beard.
  
  When I've been on surf trips in the past and in the middle of nowhere....beard growing became a fun thing to try. My friend Adam on one particular trip grew a "neck beard" only. Shaved his face but grew a beard from his neck...nasty !
  
  Others did the reverse goatee. Grow a beard everywhere except shave the goatee area.

  as mexico's centuries-old tradition of eating bugs becomes more lucrative maguey worms and ant eggs are showing up as exotic fare at expensive restaurants researchers are trying to convince poor villages to cash in on these pests as a means of income.
