  my brother was born premature in 85 was given a blood transfusion without my parents consenting.

  Ever hear convincing testimony that d'f'ing is a "loving arrangement"?

  just wondering, cuz it's so often espoused by those doing the shunning that disfellowshipping is a "loving arrangement," and there must be tons of "testimonial" literature from the borg saying so; however, when i was a jw, i don't recall ever once hearing a previously d'f''ed one giving witness to how loving it was.

  I have three friends who went back after being d'd and they're the ones who make everybody I love feel good about treating my husband andI like shyte. I know another couple of dozen who will never go back, including myself. Those three don't have the imagination to live their lives any other way.

  since we have a new light brothers and sisters (see http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/10/147354/1.ashx), that says that generation jesus was talking about are the anointed still living in earth... well... don't you worry.

  i have the power to delay armageddon just for you.

  in the next commemoration i will eat the bread and drink the wine, so while i am alive you don't have to worry.

  I don't know what the 'new light' is - but I suppose they mean that Armageddon won't happen as long as people keep taking the emblems? Now that's brilliant.

  Good call - I might show up at a hall where nobody knows me and take the emblems next year. If we can get a few hundred people to do that, it will bump up their stats.

  it's very hard for me to type these words - just as it was when i first knew i didn't believe in the wts and jehovah anymore.

  i have a huge ball in the throat, my stomach refuses to settle down, i feel like vomitting, crying, wretching, heaving.

  when i first left the truth my self-esteem plummeted.

  Sorry to hear it bro. It sounds like hell.

  I don't know what is going to happen to you. I'd like you though to keep reminding yourself that it's not your fault that she wants something from you that you can't give. JWs go into a marriage assuming that nothing will change, but they still take a risk that something might, she must know that. If she decides that you're now unacceptable to her, tell yourself that that makes her unacceptable to you - you both made vows. They obviously don't mean anything to her if she's willing to let a little thing like you changing your religious views get in the way of them.

  after my phone conversations with the elder, it seemed only right to attempt to contact our accusers.

  since the elder violated the biblical directive and refused to put me in contact with my accusers, i was unable to contact them directly.

  i did not know their phone numbers, email addresses, or home addresses.

  Maybe it's even worse than showing up at the meeting without a tie.

  Good recordings. I don't know what it is that makes me feel creeped out listening to elders on recordings like those. Maybe it's because I know exactly what they're thinking and how their sad small little minds think they're about to checkmate you, and then you just walk away from the game. "No, you can't do that! What about my power trip, huh?"

  It's going to be bad, and great, and hard, and easy, and sooner or later you'll forget it was ever you. Life is fantastic. Get out there and have a great one with your magnificent family.

  Global Warming

  there was a record high temp set today.

  the slopes usually open around the 1st of the month, now they expect to open the 1st of december, it's not even cold enough for making snow.. i wonder how much it's going to take for enough people to realize it's getting hotter every year to do something about it.. i guess we'll see.. wlg.
