  i stopped all jw activity on june 12, 1996. my 18th birthday.

  i made arrangements to stay with some friends and they even lined me up a summer job.

  i snuck out in the middle of the night and left my parents a note.

  Left in '74.

  Sent DA letter 93/94. Was DF for letter.

  There is a lot of support to be found here. Folks have been there...done that...you are not alone.

Yes Sunny, Terry is a very talented musician and artist, always has been. It's a natural gift, one that takes some folks years to achive. We had a good phone conversation last night.   Ah! Thursday! Meeting Night!

  after i left the jws and moved out, it was weird having all these evenings to myself.

  i think sunday was the easiest day to get used to without meetings.

  it just made my weekend a bit longer.

  Double Edge: "... victims of this most vial crime."

  True. It is evil. You see, it not only destroys the person whom it was done to, it destroys everyone they will ever have contact with. It is toxic and the toxcitiy remains through out a persons life. I don't have the words to express how evil and filthy molestation is, it breaks my heart that anyone would be blind to this, the most heinous ofthings things a person can do to a child.

  Molesters are sub-human, they do not deserve life. The WTBTS stinks of them.

  That's my mother, dad was Charlie. Joe was the barber. Ralph refurbished furniture. We both did a stint with him. The gloves, the brushes, the paint remover and hordes of yellow jackets under the bois d'arc tree. Steel wool, sand paper and the never ending battle over the radio, those were the days.

  You wrote a very moving account. The essence of what being a Witness does to one's life.I've often thought about you over the years, where you were, what you were doing. Good to see your alive.
