Thanks for the comments folks...
Have you ever submitted samples to newspapers for syndication?
I'm still on a learning curve Else...I'm not an artist...I cobble elements togather and creat an image...Richie's humours comment about renting a fat kid gave me the idea for this one...for anyone interested some of my pictures(a big thanks to Randy) are over at Freeminds under Rose's Cantina, don't know how to post a link, feed back would be most welcome...
Here's to Richie...hang tuff, you've got a lot to live for...live some of it for us old turd polishers, will ya?

Does he have a razor-sharp wit, handy with an iPod, given to wearing army fatigues on his day off, and can he bake cookies?
But of course…..
I thought this was gonna be another Richie Rich thread.
It is. It’s a hats off to Richie, for his humor and tenacity…he’s a stand up guy…

Very Bad Apologetics For Honest Seekers
by AlanF ingod had no beginning, so god did not need to be made.. .
if our local space-time universe is uncreated, then of course it is meaningless to ask who created it.
of course, everything that had a beginning had a beginner.

Who can and can't a JW sit next to at the hall?
by JH in.
there are so many unwritten laws, but most witnesses know when it's wrong to sit next to someone.. name a few cases, when it's ok to sit next to someone, and when it's not ok?

Now you know why I stead single. There were too many man made laws...way too many.
I hear ya….
These are unwritten rules but very much in effect and enforced by intimidation from the elders. They threatned my relative with disfellowshipping because we "exchanged a look" at the meeting and they allowed me to use the spare car.
True. The written or unwritten df’d rules have always been harsh. That is evil enough. But seating arraignments? Car arraignments? We had some freedom, but now, got to be a brain dead zombie to live a colorless life like that. I feel bad for those who continue as JW’s…so sad…your treament says it all Dams

I can't belive what I'm reading, seating is dictated? I know I've been out a long time, but I don't remember anything like that. All of us sat were and with whom we pleased. At the hall, conventions, didn't matter. Where was I in the Land That Time Forgot? How can anyone live a life like that? What a joke...

WHAT was the nicest compliment anybody ever paid you? What did they say?
by Terry inwhen i was about 16 i had a terrible crush on an older lady (she might have been 30) who was the lovliest person ever.
she had poise, confidence, intelligence, wit, appreciation and culture.
i was just a skinny, shy, geeky kid that she took under her wing.

Are you able to accept the nice compliment when it comes your way? Why not?
No.
I was always the kid nobody wanted on their team. Both my parents were cold and distant. No hugs, no kisses...that I can remember. I had no sense of self worth, none...then being raised a JW to boot...what can one say? If someone compliments me I do one of two things (number one 80% of the time) become embarrased, or suspicious. There is no in between. I can't take a compliment...give a weak smile, mumble thanks and head for the nearest door or window, which evers closer...
