Welcome! So happy to hear you're finding out the REAL truth about the WTS cult. And happy to hear you still want God in your life. In case you didn't know, the WTS doesn't have the TRUE God of the Bible. Never has....and never will. The WTS is a counterfeit.

alright, so i'm reading on this site, and i'm not 100% sure what it's about.

it appears to be a bunch of former jw people bashing everything they can get their hands on in relation to jw's.. .

i was brought up as a jw, but when i got older and started to think for myself, i began to realize that i didn't agree with their teachings.

Hi Blasty! Glad you found this site. Lots of info here. I've never been a JW, but my son has fallen prey to the WTS. So, I visit here to keep informed about what's going on within the WTS and to learn all I can.

Tony Snow died today...

after his long battle with cancer tony snow died today age 53 he left a wife and 3 children my thoughts are with him and his family...

hi everyone, thought it was time to say hi after nearly a year lurking on this site!!

abit about me... i was born into the jw's and have been baptised for about 15yrs and was appointed as an ms about a year ago.

i have been a die hard jw for the last few years, but because of the arrogant and unloving attitude of certain 'spirit appointed' men within the cong and circuit i began to wounder if what i had really was 'the truth' and caused me to do some digging on some of the fundamental teachings.

How Did You Feel During Memorial?

i'm sure this topic has been mulled over already, but indulge me and other newbies to this site.

how did you feel when memorial took place and you didn't/couldn't really partake in it?

and what happended to the wine and bread afterwards if no one ate or drank?

I have never been a JW, but I attended the Memorial....(just because my JW son wanted me to). I was SO TEMPTED to partake of the emblems!! Heh heh! But, I didn't. I was a good girl.

PS: What an utterly BORING service that was! No joy...no emotion.......dryer than the Gobi desert.

so, here i was an hour or so ago, reading jwd when the phone rings...........it was a young girl, sounded college age.

she was doing a political pole, stem cell, republican, democrat, blah blah blah.

I LOVE to see new people on this board who have "seen the light" about the WTS cult. I love to see them because it gives me HOPE for our son who has become sooooooo indoctrinated by the Witnesses. We have never been Jehovah's Witnesses. Our hearts are just broken because he has chosen this path.
