the folks who wash your car, immigrants, illegal aliens, and they work so hard and are always there, the same people dilligently washing your filthy car.

me and my hubby had a discussion about something similar the other night. we both agreed that this is a free country (to a degree) and anyone can better themselves if they really want too. from the mexican (if they're legal) cleaning your car to the elderly black man shining your shoes. there are grants, scholarships, and loans all waiting for someone to snatch them up. nobody is forced to stay on the bottom of the food chain. and you must also consider that what they're making here in america is probably considered big bucks back in mexico. so don't feel bad. i'm mexican and i feel no guilt letting my fellow burrito buff my hood and neither should you.

after i left the jws and moved out, it was weird having all these evenings to myself.
i think sunday was the easiest day to get used to without meetings.
it just made my weekend a bit longer.
i revel in the fact that i don't have to get caught up in a t.v. show that starts at 7 p.m. and then have to leave at 7:15 to catch the stupid 7:30 meeting....
and there is also that joy of joys.....sleeping till noon on saturday and sundays...ahhhhhh....

their reply was WE KNEW IT.... that's why there's been so many problems in the congregation- you've been grieving the spirit.
i've heard that one before. the funny thing was that i had never even committed the sin that i had been accused of!!! it was a rumor that had started in my high school and some nosy old broad's daughter that went there told her mom about it.
basically it was told that i had sex with a boy from school...and what pissed me off is the fact that even though i vehemently denied it, they dsf'd me. then on top of that, they wouldn't rein me until i confessed that i had sex....what a bunch of freakazoids!!!!!!!
