Is the goatee the new mullet?

when i had very long hair and was debating cutting it all off for the final time, one thing (among others) contributed to my decision to go for it.

now, i don't think i had a mullet.

but the sheer fact that someone said that i did, had me saying nononononooo!!.

I cant believe this.............

................we have had snow here since the end of november and last weeks it started to thaw....hooray.............woke up this morning and its .....snowing .

Yeah sure, why not kitty , what's another mouth to feed .. I've still got the same rules as with my girls though - In bed by midnight if tommorrow's a working day ..clean your room once a week and only one boy in your room at a time lol.

Sounds good to me. I'm easy to feed too! I can live off of fish and bugs.

It's a tad cloudy, but it's 67 right now and it's only 8 am. I think it's getting up to around 75 or so today.

Uncle Brucie...will you adopt me so I can come live in Australia with you?

i was reading coc last night and i started pondering over minimus' post of how the dubs are saying this is the last memorial and the end is finally here.

then i remembered the teaching that the first setoff to the big a. any thoughts on this?.

I must admit...you can come across kind of **thinking of word** kind of...harsh?....at least IMO. But then again, I am overly sensitive and my feelings get hurt if you look at me funny. Maybe it's just me.

What I took issue with was the topic of the post that claimed to relate "a FACT that debunks the statement of this being the " last memorial"..."
The topic title itself suggests that the statement in question is valid enough to need a fact to debunk it.

I'm sorry I ever posted this. I just assumed that this was a common teaching for all jw's, since I had grown up hearing it my entire life. Apparently I was wrong and I apologize if I have mislead anyone or pissed anyone off with my unprovable statements.

hello again from sunny north carolina!!!.

our state lotto started today, and i won 15 dollars, and only bought 1 $1 card.

so whoop whoop for gambling.. i was in miami florida last week for the photoshop world conference, but i also got to tour the everglades, where i took some beautiful pictures.

As Kittyeatdubs expressed it, she seems to imply that both of these aspects are grounds to be critical, even reasons to be scornful, of Jehovah's Witnesses. My comments merely point out that these phenomena are not isolated to JWs but actually quite common.

Correction: I never said anything about being critical or scornful. Did I single out witnesses in my comment? Probably. Did I mean to? Not really. All I did was note what I observed happening at the time. As for other religions, I wouldn't know. All I knew about was the JW faith growing up.

I can't even remember how I first heard about the banning of religion thing...It just seems like it's always been a known fact for me. For as far back as I can remember, my mother drilled it into me...it was her mantra. After 9/11, she'd start off everyday with the statement, ''Any day now they're going to ban us JoBeth. Then we're in for the ride of our life! Are you ready?''

She's probably still saying it.
