while they try to explain cutting yourself as a sickness in the world, it.

nevertheless makes clear that some witness kids are committing this self multilation, too.

the pain comes back worse than before, but like any addiction, you keep doing it because the relief is, for a few moments, beautiful.

it is beautiful....(((tetra))) why is it that the things we love the most...so bad for us?

i'm proud to say that i haven't cut in over a year, but it's always there in the back of my mind. it's a crutch i'll always have if it ever gets too hard or the emotional pain is too much to bear. living w/ a warehouse manager doesn't make it much easier...boxcutters laying around the house EVERYWHERE....sometimes when i get too upset or nervous, i'll find myself picking at or scratching that spot on my arm. my left arm is so ugly...all the scars heaped up in that one spot. i'm thinking of getting a tattoo to cover it...something pretty and feminine...something that doesn't remind me.

OMG!!! i actually received highlighters as a gift when i got baptized!!! this looney pioneer sister handed me this beautiful wooden box w/ a pretty design on it (i thought it was a jewelery box) and she was like, ''open it!!''....it was a set of effin' HIGHLIGHTERS!!!! i almost choked on my taco...

i've already received mine.

i sent mine out yesterday via next day air. just a side note to the receiver...you'll get half of the gift today, but there's more coming. it's just that i had to get a friend to order it b/c i don't have a credit card. he ended up ordering the wrong thing.....so you'll probably get the rest of your gifts sometime next week.

i've heard a few that i employ with my own modifications:.

i like the "dear dad" letter, though i don't know if my folks would appreciate it if i applied to leaving the org.. "if my mother knew about this, she'd be spinning in her grave.

i finally found my best friend that i've been missing for 3 years!!!! i had all but just given up, and then a co-worker sent me a link to classmates.com. i signed up for the hell of it, since some of the people i went to high school with were on there. i decided to check out grenada high school also, since i went there for a few years. cody went there too, but i didn't think he'd be on there cuz it just didn't seem like something he would sign up for. so i'm just lookin' around, seeing who's married, who has kids...when i see the name J Mxxxx... my heart jumped in my throat.....see...his first initial is J, but he always went by his middle name.....so then i started racking my brain trying to think if i went to school w/ any other Mxxxx. i couldn't think of any...so i sent him a message w/ my email address saying, ''this is jojo. if this is cody, PLEASE email me!!!''

then i crossed my fingers and waited.....

then....

HE EMAILED ME 2 DAYS LATER AND IT WAS HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we were emailing each other back and forth all day yesterday, sending each other pictures and reminicsing (sp?) i've finally found another piece of my heart that was torn away by the borg.

i really want to thank you guys also. all of your stories always kept me inspired, and made me keep looking. i don't think i would have gone this far if it wasn't for you guys! i love you all!!!!!
