Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs
by ScoobySnax inare there any beliefs that you still hold onto, or at least believe in still.
or have you totally rejected everything you once believed whilst in the "truth" >?
i still believe that a new system will happen after armageddon.

I always wondered this about the new system. I probably should start a different threat with this though; if we were to be perfect in the new system and live forever and not die, what if we have a freak accident like falling off a high cliff and hit a rocky bottom and get splattered how would we live through that; or something similar to that?

What is the oldest witness publication you actually remember?
by AK - Jeff innot just one you have seen - or even researched since leaving.
but the oldest one you recall studying when you 'got the truth' or as a child?.
i remember "let god be true" - 'babylon the great has fallen'- and 'paradise restored - paradise regained' [the big orangish/pink book - hope i got the name right] - all 50's early 60's books.

Lyineyes:
You didn't live out in the country during the summer and get chigger, tick and mosquito bites and after a bath your mother "doctored" your bites with that pink/orange colored methiolate (spelling?) so you had polka dots all over your body or greasy caphophenique (spelling?) I should know how to spell these words, lol

all that is true with Arkansas too and Im sure the stuff listed below is also true in MS and LA like AR:
You'd rather be No. 1 in football than No. 1 in education.
You think that recycling means riding your bike down the same old path.
You think orange barrels are really part of the interstate system.
When the forecast calls for an inch of snow, you run out with all the other crazies to stand in line for three hours to buy a month's worth of groceries.
You drink sweet iced tea out of a sports bottle.
Your traditional Thanksgiving dinner is a deep-fried turkey.
You call a shopping cart a buggy.
You see "No Hunting" signs are riddled with bullet holes. -

Do any small creatures frighten & freak you out?
by Rod P inhere's the dirty dozen: .
1) ants- imagine being buried in a sandpile up to your neck with sand.
along come a bunch of ants from an ant colony, and they crawl all over your head, in and out of your nose, your mouth, your ears, your eyes, and all thru your hair.

Luckily JC Penny included a "no postage necessary if mailed in united states" envelope I just tore up all my junkmail and stuffed it into the prepaid envelope. It was rather thick and now JC Penny will have to pay for the disposal of my junkmail twice. I didn't have my name or address on any of the mail that I mailed for them to dispose of. Let them have their junkmail back!
