i just had a flash back to when we used to have to clean the kh.
each group had to take it in turn to do the cleaning.. in our group we had a bunch of lazy b*****ds, so it was left to us kids and our dad to clean the kh, bogs, etc.
even my mum used to find some excuse to duck out.. so if meetings, door knocking, studying, praying wasn't enough we also had to spend a couple of hours cleaning every month or so.
Back when I went in the 80s and 90s the bookstudy groups would take turns; sometimes the group would stay after the Thursday night meeting and clean after everybody left or we would clean them on Saturday.
a woman i work with is going to a class at her church on how to talk to jw's.
i told her one question to ask when they come knocking is if jesus is their mediator since most dubs don't know he isn't according to their own teachings.. any other simple questions one might ask?.
Ask them why they abandoned the practice of baptizing people in the name of the father, son and holy spirit and instead baptize people into a spirit-directed organization, which to me is a perversion of Jesus' command.

is your avitar a pic of yourself?
if it isn't, who is it if you don't mind me asking.
I like the pic with the hat better, lol.

Is your avitar a pic of yourself? If it isn't, who is it if you don't mind me asking. Somebody on this board had mentioned here that they have met you before and said that you looked liked your avitar but the picture looks dated and I thought it may not be you.
BTW, I also wanted to say that I appreciate what you bring to JWD. Your posts have helped me a lot since I first peeked into JW-related sites like this the last year and a half.

the revelation book adhesive cut and paste instruction kit!
this pdf-"kit" was sent to us from a friend of ours who is an elder in england who is thoroughly disgusted.
the file is being sent throughout many congregations by email to assist the witnesses with "corrections" for their "revelation" book.
What Purplesofa said!! I can't imagine some newly interested one getting a copy of the book only to have to cut and paste different text over the old material without being suspicious.

what do you think are some songs that will never grow old with time, get jaded, and people will never get tired of listening to them?

California Dreamin'
All the leaves are brown
And the sky is gray
I've been for a walk
On a winter's day
I'd be safe and warm
If I was in L.A.
California dreamin'
On such a winter's day
Stopped into a church
I passed along the way
Oh, I got down on my knees
And I pretend to pray
You know the preacher likes the cold
He knows I'm gonna stay
California dreamin'
On such a winter's day
All the leaves are brown
And the sky is gray
I've been for a walk
On a winter's day
If I didnt tell her
I could leave today
California dreamin'
On such a winter's day
(California dreamin')
On such a winter's day
(California dreamin')
On such a winter's day

My last post didn't format; but Carole King's Tapestery is my alltime favorite Album too. I went through one vinyl album, cassette and 2 CDs of that.
