Im not a practicing JW so technically im not a JW but I would never spend money to buy some fools book just to get info on what many people have been saying about WTS for years.
Its not reasonable. It seems like the most of you left the organization because you wanted to practice you own beliefs so finding faults would help you. Your forgetting people are falible no one here is perfect the WTS is falible because people run it. God is perfect. If you believe a Just God exist and that he will allow evil will continue forever Im here to tell you you?re dead wrong. When God is ready he put and end to what He calls evil if the WTS fall into that category then they will fall also.
~Fallow Jesus Christ lifestyle and you'll never go wrong.

JW's + child sacrifice
by Noumenon ininteresting article here by the provocative david icke (of the 'we are ruled by alien lizards' persuasion).. there is a comment in the article about child sacrifice rituals, etc.
this brings to mind the fact that most jw parents are of course quite prepared to allow their little baby or child to be sacrificed to jehovah out of blind obedience to the organisation's blood policy.
also, the jw policy on insisting that 2 witnesses testify to any child abuse/molestation, thus making the religion a haven for paedophiles, can also be said to be a form of child sacrifice.

I also dont know any witness who treat there child as dead because of being disfellowshiped after all how harsh can it be. why was they disfellowshiped to began with was it for doing something good. Usually when your child is bad you give some form of punishment i.e. grounding, taken away allowances and such

You guys nit pick and poke fun of JWs but are oblivious to what has taken place in other religions like in Catholicism where the priest themselves were the pedophiles and werent removed. You have got to be one dumb parent if your child told you some one try to have there way with them sexually and you dismiss it because no one witness it or one person witness it. Plus if you disagree with the haven two witnesses thing. Your disagreement is really with the Bible not the JWs

Contradictions and NWT

they left me the "why you can trust the bible" tract which claims there are no contradictions in the bible.
so, in preparation i looked out some examples on the internet.

BluesBrother was basically saying that when such scriptures as the ones that spoke about: "Noahs drunkenness, Lot's incest with his daughters, the whole life course of Samson, the two she-bears being used by Elisha to slaughter 42 children." to be considered object lessons. May I ask who made you the authority to decide that when certain things written in the Bible that dont fallow your idea of who God is should be thought of as an object lesson? Who decides what is literal and what is not literal in the Bible. Each reader decides from themselves what is literal. In my opinion the whole Bible should be read in a literal light unless it (the Bible) explicitly says this situation is an object lesson and only for teaching a lesson. or that the writer was speaking from what he saw in vision and should not be thought of as literal. When I said in a literal light I meant that when you read your Bible take its meaning for what it said. God is love whether He kills people or not.

Advantages to being a JW
by MGonzales ini'd say that the biggest advantage of being a jw is that you learn the bible.
growing up a jw (never baptized), i had many friends (mostly catholic) who didn't even know where most books of the bible were even located.
jws really do learn and study the bible and this knowledge becomes very helpful once you start looking at the bible more objectively and not with wts binders.

I?m currently in the WTS organization though I don?t practice. I still would have to say there are many advantages to knowing what the Bible says. Weither u agree with what is written in this book or how God is portrayed in it will not change what is written. The bible is history and permanent. We also come to understand that there is a God and nature won?t deny this. If everyone was to practice what Jesus Christ believed and imitate the lifestyle he lead there really wouldn?t be any problems and I would admit that many in the organization can?t measure up. In behalf of myself I quit being a witness because it?s hard work and it?s exhausting. Another thing many people forget is that God is God because no one can check his hand. Whatever God says is law he holds all the cards. You can?t argue with some one like that either do as he says or don?t. I didn?t really give a reply to the topic so I'm going to list them. Advantages: Knowledge about God Constant Bible Studies Christ like conscience (What would Jesus do in certain situations) Simple pleasing life style (simple for you pleasing to God if you fallow it) Protection (In the sense that if you live our lives like Jesus then you won?t have to worry about certain things)
