  Seems a little vague. I'm already living by God's word I think. Where does it say in the Bible what I need to do for "Eternal Life"?

  i just talked to my friend's mother and she has agreed to read papers on jws and think about her position with her daughter.

  she has agreed not to say anything to her about it and if she feels i am right in my opinion than she will listen to me about alking to her.

  CYP, I am listening and you are not sounding like a know it all. I am here for a reason and that is to get your help. I am not doing anything as of yet. I will read the book. I am going to go to the book store in a while for it. You are a warrior and a teacher it seems. Your works should be commended in respect to the Study you stopped. That is the type of action I want to help take place. Now though I have a deeper issue to deal with. I know I have support from this group and I know that I need to heed your advice. Believe me your words are not falling on deaf ears.

  I understand CYP. I don't want to ruin this. I know I need to be careful. i am trusting in God and her mother on this one today. I have gathered all the info I could that I think could help. Let's just pray her heart and mind are open.

  She has already been batized. The pressure is newly developed. She was invited to a JW only womens retreat next weeked. For 4 days reflecting on the teaching of the WTS. No one will be able to contact her. The thought of that is scary. I am not trying to prove doctrine to her mother. I made that clear in a letter to her that will be included on the CD I give her. I gather documents that were factual nonbiased views on legal cases, false prophecy, theocratic warfare and their unScriptual laws. I told her that if she wants to look into doctrine she needs to get online looks for herself. I expressed my love for her daughter and why I have that love. I also expressed that she needs to talk to me before approaching her daughter so I can show her how to not estrange herself. I never used the word cult or any other "trigger" words. I told her that by reading this info she was both risking her relationship with her daughter in a way and being a good mother at the same time. She will not like the fact that reading some papers could jeprodize her relationship with her daughter. She likes to think she brought her daughter up to be strong and independant. Wel, that may be so but the WTS had a stronger impression.

  A new twist. She is ready to read any info tomorrow and after that she will be gone for a week. She will be reading it while she is gone, so nfortunatly the video is not an option right now. I am going to get it for the futur but right now it wont help.
