an apostate one? I know that they are discuraged to question theif beliefs and in a lot of cases told not to but I was wondering if there are any JWs that could help me here. Any exJWs too. Thanks in advance.

kls, I will remember that. All I ask now is that my friend and I are in your prayers. That everyone who reads my story asks God to help her and give her the strength to question what she is told and think outside of their lead box. I also ask you to pray for me and that God grant me the strength to work as his agent and help this beautiful soul. That I be given patience and understanding and that I speak the words he wants when the time comes. If anyone reading this can do that for us both than you have done more than I could hope for. So far I know people around the world are praying for her and I and all I ask is that more people join those voices. I cannot bring down the WTS, I know that. I might not even be able to help one soul but what I can do is try with everything I am until God tells me it is time to stop and that is what I will do. Thank you all!! God Bless you!!

bebu, I understand what you are saying. I am without a doubt learning patience and I think that is also a lesson for me. I am prepared to love her regardless, I always will. She deserves better though.
Brummie, I have complete belief in Jesus as a perfect being and in Jehovah as his creator. Endure till the end? What end? If I endure till the end do I get "Eternal Life"? Please explain to me. -

Thanks Brummie-- I am doing my FS. I am filling in my card. I am still going to Meeting and Study. I have been baptized now and living my life as the WTS says I should. Do I have "Everlasting Life" now? I was told all I needed was knowledge of Jehovah and Jesus. Man this is not what I was told at the begining but the FDS says that I need more hours. Will goiing to Bethel grant me "Eternal Life"?
Brummie- I suggest reading the other posts too. Just so you have a better idea of what is going on. Thank you though. I was saddened by deviation the thread has taken. -

I know, but I have to try. I have to show her my love and make her realize the love of others. Believe my I know. Every minute of every day for the past few weeks I have realized that the minute before was not the one and that it may be a long time. I know there is no magic word, I know that I cannot save her. I know that God alone can do that. All I can do is make her question what and why. That is my goal. I don't want to be a hero. I did at first but at this point all I want is for that beautful woman to be the creature she is not the person she become under the glare of the Watchtower. "The Watchtower" even that sounds wrong. Why oh why oh why?

I agree with you as far as confessing to Jehovah, I am wondering though if maybe the DFing will be what she needs to get out. I know it is a horrible thing to say or think but God works in mysterious ways and maybe that will be the one. I understand that in Theocratic Warfare the purpose of DFing is to make one a better JW. Has anyone had a sucessfull ministry with a JW that was DF'd? Is it better that they be "in good standing"?

kls, How do you do it? How do you live your life with a JW while you know the truth of it? I am being genuine in this question? I need help. I don't want to lose my friend. She is not my girlfriend as is sometimes concluded. She is a woman that I love deeply but we are friends. I want her to be happy and not afraid, that is all I want her to be who she is and for a time I saw who she is and it was incredible. That person is almost gone now and truly the world is a darker place for it.

kls, imploded already, still coming back for more. I can't let this go. Luckily I have support from this forum and other people. I am keeping it cool and my friend is still my friend. Just using this as a sounding board. I haven't heard any advice from you in a while though. Any new thoughts on my situation? -

NL2, you are right. I never really thought about the fact that there is lesser level of brainwashing. She believes what she believes and it wont change. I am concerned though that she will begin to rely on these people that are not genuine friends and when she is DF'd, which she will be as soon as she goes to the Elders and tells them that she has done many things wrong, she will be devastated and possibly become severly depressed. You are right, time is not critical right now but surely you understand that while she cannot fall more under their control she can begin to isolate herself from "worldly" people at which point this all becomes harder. I know that God alone can save her but he needs agents to act through sometimes and what if she fails to allow His agents to come to her?
