I work at my dads restaurant, im going to quit july. im going to get a job where i go to college at. ive applied for a crap load of scholaeships, not a word back from one yet. im top 10% of my class. ive talked to my counselor. ive considered joining the navy, or moving in with this girl. i wrote down all pros cons of all sides.
look on the brightside ill be going to prom with a beautiful girl this saturday. i got lots of worldly friends out there. im going to college and living in the dorms. only 1 elder knows ill be living in the dorms, he's probably the only one that will support my side. he's a CEO. so you know...
from what everyone has said. ive thought about moving in with my step grand mother for the summer. we never really were close though because my parents were johvahs witnesses.

I could use good points to argue with right now.
I'm thinking of starting with. "so the elders said my hair is going out of style? they also say gambling is bad. the word "bulletin" is illegal. they also get into peoples personal lives. they also told me to think of pioneering priority before education. oh yea and they also lie. they are the ones who are knit picky. since when did you go by what they say? theyre just a group of old men with titles. or are you going by what mom says? she tried to beat me up with a broom today. youve been a weak person." -

Now my dad just came in and told me he's tired of her bitching and she said I cant go to prom unless I get a haircut. And he also said the elders said my hair is going out of style. What can I do to put up a good argument?

Right now my mom just tried to beat me up with a broom because I wouldn't get a haircut her way. I'm trying hard to grow out my hair. And I just came back from getting the back bottom part trimmed. She threatened to kick me out of the house and I would've left too. -

Smart JWs
by greendawn inmost of us often talk about what we don't like in the jws and why we left but i think there are some smart persons/families/entire congs there who know how to play the system, they don't really give a toss about the wts ideology (or behaviour) but they stay there just to have a good social or family life in exchange for giving 5 or 7 hours to the org per week.
to them it is a social club not a religion.
have you seen or heard anything on this?

Ive been having some wierd dreams lately
by tsunami_rid3r inone night, i dreamt i was a woman in a house somewhere in the tropics.
the house was overflooded with thigh high water and there were two men there.
one was unconsciouses and floating around, and he floated towards and electrical outlet and got electricuted and the other guy came over to pull him away.

I hate this religion, it ruined my life. I'm 17, and this senior year I started getting out but I can't completely because then my parents won't support my higher education. I also dreamed I got into 3 automobile accidents. They happened three times last year and I haven't had them anymore.
