I'm starting to worry......
by DJ ini've always known that i am a bit obsessive, but lately i've been starting to worry about it.
when i was taught jw stuff, i really got into it.
i know that most women are supposed to be able to think and do a million things at once.

Dad's and Cats will love these ...
by Simon inbought one of these mini remote control racing cars today for the ehem "kids" (obviously, they can only watch it while i supervise the remote control .
it's brilliant!
... and the cats love it too .

I think you bought for it yourself really!
I think id prefer to play halo on the X-box or counter strike on the net, its funny when i put my cat next to the screen when im playing halo she goes mad and wacks the screen.

Disadvantages since leaving the truth?
by haujobbz insince leaving the jws reality can be hard to get used to these are somethings i found hard to adapt to:.
1) starting to celebrate celebrations like birthdays and christmas(i dont mean that christmas is a disadvantage its just getting used to the whole idea).
2) tell others im not a jw because all i used to do is try to convert them and now im telling them i was mislead and dont beleive it anymore.. 3) should i swear,lie,etc.

Im gonna be celebrating christmas for the first time this year and im looking forward to giving and sharing
Good view of halloween is to use that day to be a freak (watta do you mean im always a freak lol)
I have told many i left and most say im glad to hear that, although its quite embarrasing somedays
I suppose having a clear vision is the weirdest one and even though you say we get scattered across the universe its still hard to get to grips with that we live a precious life which is then destroyed at death
Dont get me wrong im very happy with my life but on occasions i get confused pondering over the meaning of life,if you met me you would see that im a very happy individual and also a thinker

I can imagine how you feel when you say you feel like loosing your mind when reality kicks in and it was all a fantasy,i felt the sameway when i left, it felt like i was dreaming and i just woke up.
And all the things you gave up now that really irritates me personally basically i was giving them up to please the governing body in brooklyn,for instance dont have an unbelieving partner or he may take you away from the truth (more like dont have a partner or you wont concentrate on putting in more hours for field service and then our statistical figures will be less and look bad and he may tell you the real truth).
I agree some things i learnt helped but at the expense of being misled.
You couldnt wear jeans !!!!!!
My family has also never been close either but more judgmental than anything else and self righteous.
But look on the brightside your free and you have lots of friends to talk to on here who can relate to you.

4) I nearly sacrificed my girlfriend (now my wife) to get baptised due to her being a worldling and not wanting to become a jw
5) I sacrificed all my copied cd,s and films with bad language or violence
I could go on a bit more but was it all worth it?
So did you have to make big sacrifices to be a j.w

Is the death penalty effective in usa?

im asking this because lately in the uk 2 girls were murdered that were only 12 yrs old and now 59% population of the uk want the death penalty reinstated.. i assume you already have the death penalty in the usa, but do you think it is effective reducing 1st degree murder and potential child molesters,would you like to see the death penalty removed in the united states or not.. i wonder if the death penalty will be reinstated in the uk what do you think, personally i dont think it will maybe the politicians are afraid they wont get as many votes.

He was defenitely into the egyptian thing i wonder who made his tombstone.
Also being called pastor russell sounds much better then anointed one or governing body member.
I used to call the elders reverend they didnt think it was funny though.
Thinkin about it the attitudes of the leaders must have had an effect on the believers may when rutherford was president his drinkin habit became a role model for the followers maybe a lot of jws got pi@@ed.
But russels imagination when writing the studies in the scriptures really makes me laugh his style was so so cool.

What do you mean"words we no longer use" i love all those words like last days,great crowd,brother,elder in fact i love those words so much i call people brother and sister in the street and i call my family the great crowd due to my dad having 14 kids,i call my dad elder,my wife sister,i call the local park paradise and i call bad things demonized.
Anyway what you doing with the k-bulls.
I wanna try the k-bulls also did you find out the prices and times to get to destination ?
