  what if any effect could this have on the brothers who go into the hospitals and use the blood brochure for information for the witnesses to abstain from blood?

  One good thing has happened since I left the BORG I got my brother to stop being one of the brothers on the local Liason Committee. He has realized that the BORG is not correct on blood.

  My wife caught me and in bed!!!!!!

  new that would catch your attention.. yes its true folks , my wife caught me in bed reading notes that i had written down about raymond franzes book crises of conscience.

  she is a staunch follower of the borg and i have now been inactive for about 2 years.. i wrote about 30 pages of notes from this book as the only place i could get my hands on one was from the library.

  i couldnt order one as i was so afraid of her finding out i was reading "apostate " material.. she asked me what i was reading and said it was er just some notes i had written .

  If your wife does not believe you about Ray being DF'd for eating with his boss you can go to your lybrary and get a copy of US News and World Report (October, 8, 1984, p. 69) here it talks about his ordeal. I had to look up this information before I believed it was true. That was many years ago. http://www.premier1.net/~raines/leave.html

  My wife was like yours. She even left me once and only after she left did she finally realized I truely had made up my mind. She came back and said if it ment that much to me that I was willing to let her leave so as not to go to the meetings then she would look at the information I had. I did the same thing as you are doing. I studied very hard, wrote everything down the Society's side and the information I was finding out. I went to the college lybrary's and took no-ones word on anything,. I did this for years before my wife found out. I told no-one. It allmost killed me finding all of this out. I was willing to die for that religion and to find out the truth about it was almost more than I could stand. Be very patient and be aware the ELders will rty to get you.   Wow did not know they changed the vows. I was baptized before 1985. I don"t think HE was baptized before 85 he would of been pretty young in 85.

  Very good idea. I told him to tape everything. I was told too never let myself be taped by a brother or sister while I was in the Borg. So every time an ELder has asked to talk to me, I say yes, with only one Elder present and the conversation will be taped. I have been asked dozens of times and not one Elder has agreed to my conditions. They are to scared the tape could be used against them in a court of law.

  I see my post is lacking in grammer. I was speaking to him as I was typing the above.

  Last night was their Service meeting, they did not make the announce. He talked to an Elder this morning and was told by that Elder the congregation was going to call the Society and get the Society's opion on how to proceed first before they make the announcement.

  I guess the threat of being sued might of made them stop and think.

  I have a friend that was dumb enough to allow two Elders in his house at the same time to talk to him, He let them in. I have told him over and over again never to talk to two ELders at the same time. I'll get to the point. They asked him if would consider coming back. He said I dont know I don't think so But maybe in the future. They talked some time and as they were getting they said we are going to make an annoucement that you no longer wish to a Witness. He said he was shocked and told them He did not say that. They said what you said is good enough. He threaten to get a Lawyer, the Elders said go ahead we have a good lawyer. So he went to the P.O. and told him he did not say that to the two Elders.

  My friend has been out for over ten years now. He did not think it was possible for them to do this to him. He still has family and friends that are JW's and a business with employees that are JW's. It would drasticly complicate his life. Three months ago the P.O. approached him at a friends funeral and the P.O. told him, he off their radar and it would not be loving for the Elders to handle his situation.

  Does anyone have any ideas how to hanlde this problem.
