Yap I have gone Pm like this. I feel so sorry for people like that. They make me laugh and then I think what thier minds are like they did not have peace of mind on the line of the Borg and are so brain washed that they will never have it peace of mind the rest of thier lives.

1 year on JWD, what I've learned
by wanderlustguy inalthough my username now shows me on since january 19th, i've actually been here a year and a week now.
my first post was under another name that i changed later to keep my id secret...but it was;
ok, i've been staring at post after post for hours, done weeks of digging on the web, without speaking to a soul.

Have you converted?
by Clam inobviously some of you have been responsible for converting people to the jw religion.
now that youve left, do you ever feel responsible for these people in any way?
theres no reason why you should i suppose but im interested from a human angle.

The one person that I was the first one to place any thing with this one man, start the study and keep it going and he came in. He told me that the only reason he is a JW is becuase he like me so felt like he would listin to what I have to say. He has asked me many time why I am not going anylonger. I can't find it in my soul to tell him the Truth about the Troof.

Aliens/UFO's...Do You Believe In Them?

Absolutly believe in them. I think if a person does not believe they have never watched the shows you are talking about. I have seen UFO's and there is a place in central Idaho that I take people to see UFO's. Every time I have been we see them. I like to show un-believers the UFO's as much as I like to talk to JW's here on the forum. I love it, that is to see thier reactions

How stressed were you as a JW?
by JH ini don't know about you guys, but it stressed me alot to be a jw.. i never did like talking in public, in front of a group, or going door to door.. gee, i hated the tms meeting.
the moment i knew that i had a talk, i became nervous and often i had a hard time sleeping.
just knowing that i had to talk for 5 minutes in front of the whole congrgation got me nervous weeks ahead of time.

I was the epiphany of stressed. I had to prepare for hour talks and my Book study group. I hated this part of my life. Towards the end I was stressed so badly I felt like puking before meetings. I was removed, I know you here this all the time, I was unjustly removed and my head spun as my heart broke in pieces, never knowing if the feeling would ever leave. Six months later the CO came and apologized to me in front the Elders that where responsible, he said, he was sorry for his part in it and said Br. .XXX you were removed unjustly. This did not help my ever growing doubts, as time went on, and I was not reappointed, I became so stressed that some one would find out about my doubts. I prayed for a way out. I felt that if I thought too loudly some how they would know and expose my fraud. I had to keep the information I was finding out to myself and pray that my wife did not catch me doing my research. It was horrible, at the meeting when I heard brain washed comments from the Drones I would almost climb out of my skin. It was like being trapped inside an un-breakable grass dome that anyone that wanted to see in could, as hard as I tried to break free I was afraid that the falling glass from the glass dome would slice me with a fatal wound and I would die while the Borg smiled approvingly of my fate as an example for all to see.I have moved beyond all of this now and live a stress free life.

My dad was here this morning I had told him few weeks ago about the new change in the cards and today he told me that there was not any new change so I am glad it see this post becasue he just left only about two minutes ago. I'll go up to his place in awhile and ask to see the new cards.

Progress...?
by MuadDib inwell, if my family celebrated christmas i would have ruined it for them this year.
after working most of the 24th i went over to my parents' house for dinner and was unable to escape my mother's interrogation as to why i haven't been at meetings or in service for three months.
this turned into an hours-long conversation with my parents in which i essentially announced my decision to leave the jws.

Don't talk to them. If you have made your mind up do not talk to two Elders at one time. They are not there to help you so why be civil to them. Don't answer the door, not return their calls, Hang up the phone if you answer and one of them is on it, Do not pick up a certified letter from the post office or sign any letter for pick up from any UPS ec....... If you get cornered say you are confused at this time, they will not DA or DF you if you only say this. Don't let them make you leave under their conditions This is real impoertant to follow what I said. If you do this you will not be DA or DF unless your dad and mom become the two witnesses against you. Be smart. I would go back and tell your mom and dad you have rethought it over and having a tuff time and just was confussed the other day.
