  was told that if you are the sort of person that cant handle changes, you wont stay in the org for long.

  we have confirmation that something will be announced 4/27. We then have new posters who are claiming it is on the merging of the weeknight meetings. We then have a somewhat new poster claiming it if on the hotel problem regarding lodging for conventions. If this is what it is I would like that person to post the letter and put an end to this speculation.

  Meeting schedule rearranged...WHY?

  official speculation thread.... even if a reason is given for the meeting rearrangement when it is announced on 4/27, we all know how the society spins things (e.g., awake magazine being reduced to one issue per month to "put more emphasis on the bible" real reason.. .

  so why is the society doing this?

  on the surface, it seems to be a loosening of control.

  ok, Sir82 (whom I consider a very reliable source from his track record here) has confirmed for us that something, something "highly priveleged" will be announced on Sun 4/27 after the WT. Speculation is leaning toward this new streamlined triple meeting arrangement- that is where it is speculatory.

That is true; in-house announcements usually aren't made in a public forum like the Sunday meeting. I agree that this will likely be a let down. Here is something from the 2005 KM All will want to be present at the Public Meeting on Sunday, March 20, for a special announcement regarding a provision that will be made available to publishers. Does anyone remember what that was?

  Yes Blondie..it was the new Organized to Do Jehovah's Will book. And that the annoucements regarding df/daed persons would now be "So and so is no longer one of jehovah's Witnesses"...as opposed to so and so has been dfed/daed.
