welcome to the new one (forgot your name sorry) and as some one else said i need to just say no thanks, things came to another head last night my brother who has stopped going is going back to america (he coaches football) and i think maybe coz he was going or maybe coz i went memorail my sister decided to start reading the bible to me, well as i had had a drink, i grabbed it off her and started 'being apostate' didnt go down too well my dad said i should leave as i am bringing the devil into the house my mum went upstairs crying, i just said for fooks sake ill just go back meetings as i cant stand this anymore!!!!

not going to so stupid thing to say, i need to get harder gonna keep reading on here and sticking to my guns!!!!

like someone else said my main prob is waffling back and forth.... but.....when its seeing your family so hurt by your decision how do you do it????? x

Thanks alot, esp sirona for what you put, (she has the added priveldge of me ringing her to talk about it too ha ha !)

i know i've been back and forth these past two years and prob driven you all mad! but i really am doing what i want now, my family don't discuss the truth with me i have come a long way (for me!)

the co wife is my cousin she was like my sister we were brought up together with only a year between them, she cares for me thats why it's so hard!! but i'm going to just forget!!! and hope she does (bet she does'nt eh?)

i will not have a study tho it will undo everything i have done, i'm off to my freinds husbands 50th party tonight its a medieval banquet my family know i'm going only a matter of time before they find out it was a BIRTHDAY PARTY! #

in the past i wouldnt off gone but now i'm doing what i want, wish me luck. x

i took oon board what you all said, to be honest i was crying all time (not like me) and i turned to you guys for support but basically what everyone said that ineeded to sort myself ouf first was right ,, and i think maybe i have, i still single but everytime my parents keep on stick up for myself they know i dont believe it no more , i know its took me ages to come to this but its true im hurting them like hell but i thinki have to for me .

ok so who exactly is going to the memorial this year....and why?

i am, my dad is doing it, i'm going to their hall theyve just moved there (to 'help' out).

i figured its the one meeting i can't miss as i upset them by not going to any others at all, also ive made a point of not going to my hall and i won't let anyone know i'm at my dads.

my dad is actually worried i might 'be apostate' about it, as i once said surely passing on the bread and wine is like saying 'no thanks jesus!

child of god i understand what you are saying but... how can a sane person say they prayed to god to save them from hurricane katrina and he did?? what about my friends relatives one a co who was klled surely if you read the bible you know he doesnt interfere right now!!!

actually i cant understand i am not here to bash jws my whole family and life was one! you're lucky that when you were dfed you had weak family members who would talk to you!

i am here for support thats all, lovely to speak to people who actually think for themselves not quote the bible in wrong text, you ever read the origanal of what you quoted before!!
