What would happen if a cong said no? or should I just revisit the Menlo park fiasco?
I understand a cong saying no is not likely. Just a what if question.
this from j.w survey :.
https://jwsurvey.org/we knew they did this to a degree, but this is a blatant way of siphoning money to where the leaders want it, with no control, no transparency, and no way for anyone to be able to see where it has gone.
jehovah’s witness uk headquarters dissolves kingdom hall charities, seizes full control of property and finances.

hi guys...well watchtower gets wackier and wackier!.
so watchtower has hired the author of several books on satanism & self proclaimed 'vampire' society member(!
) vlad...i mean massimo introvigne to defend them against a report by two academics recommending the dutch govt investigate jws.
Is there an article about this on any news source in English?
do any of you remember things you should never have said to a fellow j.w ?.
two of mine come to mind, one was when we were out in field circus one day and my companion was complaining of knee pain, he explained, " it has a crack in it ", i replied " that explains why my bum hurts, that's got a crack in it", the other one was when a guy showed me a chef's knife he had bought for chopping, and i said " i always wanted a big chopper ".. you ?.
I used the f word a few times when my jw first joined up and I had to meet with a jw or two. It is not a word I use often, for extreme emergencies! I feel kinda bad about it because the one jw had no clue I was so against them in the first place. The elder I used it on? pfft, no guilt there! he was a pompous ass. Oddly, I just found out he has apparently disappeared from jw land or maybe to some other cong? I hope he has left all together and my words haunt him. (I'm not being mean, it involved a case of sexual abuse) It was righteous use of the f word in that case. lol
the washtowel has a crazy obsession with diminishing the important of jesus' sacrifice for humankind.
i find this so antichristian.
i mean, how can you ignore scriptures like john 3:16?.
My mind is just boggled by the wt quote. For mainstream Christians, there is nothing more important than the salvation offered to all through the blood of Christ upon the Cross.
graceyou won’t find any in the new world translation!no no no.you only find “undeserved kindness.”(ask yourself why you don't deserve kindness.
?isn’t kindness basic decency?
?if you are one of jehovah’s witnesses you have a reason.jehovah’s witnesses are never on firm standing with their god.
It has been my experience that you can't even have a conversation with a jw about Grace, they have no concept of it. Just when you think they may be agreeing with you they come out of left field with some wacky analogy that shows you are clearly talking about 2 different things all together. Might as well be having a conversation in Greek and Japanese where neither one knows what the hell the other one is talking about.

2020 wt study.
no 46 wt nov 2019.. the shield of faith, that jws are told to hide behind is so large, page 19, that if held comfortably would require it to have rear view mirrors, (to see 1975).
"Good news: par 11 forbids jws to argue about lies of the wt organization."- can you elaborate a bit on that one? thanks
i was told today that my jw family had a massive family gathering with presents exchanged, drinks and a big roast dinner.
they even wore paper hats.. the day they chose for this family day?.
26th december.. totally not christmas or anything - honest.. does anyone elses family do that?
"Kids in my area used have a "anniversary""- you mean an anniversary of their birth? gasp! in other words or much like the rest of the world a 'birthday'?
during the vietnam war (1955 - 1975) young men reaching the age of 18 were required by law to register for the draft within 30 days of that birthday.jehovah's witnesses included.most jw's did not (perhaps never did) understand the situation faced by young brothers in the congregation.the general "understanding" among the rank and file went something like this.1.
jw's serve jehovah as ruler rather than men.
2. we believe "thou shalt not kill."3.
I have read previous things you have written about your experience, told my jw, big surprise? yes, you must be an apostate with an ax to grind, never happened, blah, blah, blah......
So sorry Terry.
