Love the footnote on page 3 - ''For a detailed explanation of this subject, see the book 'Revelation - it's Grand Climax at Hand' published by Jehovah's Witnesses''

''Even Churches.....have tolerated religious leaders who have sexually abused children''
Are we to assume there were at least TWO witnesses to these cases?

Dubs out with kn37
by fullofdoubtnow ini just took the dog a walk, and saw 4 dubs at the top of our street, trying to place kn37.
this is, of course, the first official day of thecampaign, so i expext to see a few more of them than usual over the next few days, but it's not often i see them at this time of day (3:10pm when i spotted them).
they all know me, and when they saw me walking towards them with the dog, who does admittedly look a bit fearsome, being a pit bull/staffordshire bull terrier cross, they looked a little nervous, as if they thought i was going to set him on to them.

Brilliant Johnny - it's amazing how much Dubs don't know about their own Religion. Can't be easy to keep up with the constant changes. I believe some are still sticking to the 'No Blood' as they deem it Biblical, but I don't know how these perceive the 'Fractions' option.
Keep up the Great Work.

WT monitors sites?
by Gordy inthere was a post on the other day someone was asking about whether the wt monitors websites such as this and other "apostate" sites.. unfortunately i couldn't find it to add this to it.
i remembered a jw who worked on installing computers at london bethel, some time ago telling me that the wt did monitor websites.
this jw is gradually fading away from being one, so can't say to much about him.

You've only been there juust over a week - what were your colleague's transport arrangements prior to that...longterm? Or was he just winging it?
It's inconvenient for you - so tell him that.

Disfellowshipping for Gluttony?
by Smoky inis that possible?..have there been any cases like this?.
my family have been on my case about me hanging around with people (non-jw family) that like to drink alot.
they went as far as to call me "a drunk"...now i do admit that i have been gotten drunk before on occasion, but i am not a drunk or an alcoholic.. so, i told my mother (obese) that if i were "a drunk" for getting drunk from time to time (not every day), then can she be considered "a glutton", for eating to much, obese, having health problems, all because of the way she eats?

i ONCE ATE 4 BIG MACS
I was going to say 'lightweight, Chiddy'' - I once ate 9, yes NINE, Cadbury's Creme Eggs.
So - surely, by THEIR rules, ONE OR two cigarettes is acceptable.

I went to the pictures last week to see 'Children Of Men' - I didn't enjoy it, in fact the person I went with was so bored they went outside during film for a fag (I only wished I was a smoker so I could have joined them).
Last film I (partially) watched on DVD was 'Boogeyman' - I was glad when the phone rang during it so I could turn it off.........maybe I just have a short attention span?
The film I WANT to see next is, ''The History Boys''

I always thought it should be a disfellowshipping offence for the same reason as smoking is (which ISN'T specified in the Bible).
Not a lot in it for the elders of the JC though, is there? - "How good was it? Was it a MULTIPACK? Were you having impure thoughts while indulging yourself with that Cadbury's Flake, Sister (Brits will remember the advert)........
