  Everyone deserves a funeral....surely!!!!

  i haven't posted much recently on the site but wanted to tell you about something bad that has happened.. some of you will remember me posting about my husbands very elderly grandfather.

  we wanted to take him in to live with us when he was diagnosed with mild dementia but my husbands parents insisted that he go into a care home and conned him into signing an epa.

  there reason for not allowing this lovely old man to live out his days with us was that their responsibility was to consider his 'spiritual needs' and since we no longer went to meetings we could never look after him ...so they stuck him, against his will, into the home.

  Maybe if you had taken your Grandfather in, cared and looked after him and shown him love, he may have changed his WIll completely in favour of you, and that was a chance your Mum-In-Law wasn't willing to take.

  Maybe you should print out all these responses and mail them to your Mother-In-Law. I'd be tempted.

  I'm so sorry for your loss, and the extra unnecessary pain you've had to suffer too.

  Minimus - I sense you're not keen on the new Pope? I have only seen a few pictures of him, and I think he bears a striking resemblance to an ageing Hannibal Lecter (and that's not necessarily a bad thing).

  The more I read of this, the angrier (and sadder) I'm becomming. EVERYONE deserves a funeral - it represents 'closure' a final goodbye. I can't understand a ''Memorial Service''. What Love is there in putting 'Inheritance/money' above life itself?

  i have had trouble getting onto mrs ozzie since the operation but this morning i rang the hospital and was put through to mr ozzie himself!.

  we spoke for quite a while and he sounded fantastic!!!!!!!.

  i passed on the love of the board and told him he has so many people who love him.

  this, as hear-say, has been my understanding that the catholic church at some point in the early centuries disguised st.mary as being an adulterous woman... only to have her sins' reproved from the salvation of the world by y'shua, meshiach.

  it's been said that the particular scriptures, in regards to her surfacing as almost bein' stoned to death, about mary magdelene were actually put into the scriptures by the catholic church themselves.... mary magdelene... adulterous woman, saved sinner?

  or apostle, misrepresentation of scripture...?

  Old Soul - many, MANY thanks for that. I have just heard the same but don't understand what it means to JW in the APPLICATION of this NEW word they've discovered (if other religions/scholars were already aware of something significant, why did God not reveal it to His Organisation? Was he giving Christendom a head-start? lol). Is it IN the Bible (in which case it's ALWAYS been there)? Is this what they call ''New Light''?
