Where did they find this in the Bible?
Do they need to? I think the Bible is only used as a secondary publication where it supports WTBTS literature. But I may be wrong.
those of you who have been to this year district conventions know that during the drama timothy's friend ionatan was telling him about their plans to go and study in athen.

can anyone verify this, or show where this story comes from?
......last time I went on a train, I couldn't even get a Coca-Cola, let alone a toga.....but on the PLUS side, I did get to use my return ticket.

Hurried orders brought a wide-eyed porter with a sheet snatched from a berth and careful hands folded it about the prostrate figure.
....and credit where it's due, that's jolly good service for an Inter-City away-day saver.

Jehovah's Witnesses, Center of Flag Rows, Born in Pittsburgh. On a train that rumbled over a Texas prairie on a fall day in 1916 a gray-haired man collapsed of a heart attack.
To a group that gathered round him, he murmured:
"Please wrap me in a Roman toga."
Hurried orders brought a wide-eyed porter with a sheet snatched from a berth and careful hands folded it about the prostrate figure.
Then death rattled in the stricken man's throat and he was still.
personally, i have nothing against executing wanton murderers.
The Crown is responsible for prosecuting in a murder trial, so the outcome has no bearing on these fees. IF there is doubt a jury will acquit anyway, and I think they would be more likely to acquit in the event of the Death Penalty being re-introduced. Prisoners shouldn't spend years sitting on Death Row, but executed swiftly.
the power of prayer
wouldnt it be great to have a magic wand?
in other words, you cant give everyone everything they want.
I am wondering if the food we eat is somehow more nutricious then unblessed food, I guess its time for another double blind study.
I was wondering the same about ''Holy Water'' - what happens to it that makes it dangerous to vampires? AND if a JW was bitten by a vampire (and subsequently became one), would he starve to death?........I need to get out more.
me and my lady friend were attacked in capetown by a guy with a knife.
i was frozen of fear, she kicked him very hard, but became little injured by the knife, he took of injuired also.
i did basically nothing, just stading there.
Ooooooh Frannie, I'd beg to differ.....
Brussels, Belgium - unsafe ...................... Nicosia, Cyprus - safeFrannie
I lived in Belgium and found Brussels SAFE, whereas, maybe Nicosia is safe NOW

In the 21st century anyone who is for the death penalty has been left behind. In fact they have a lot in common with suicide terrorists.
Noooooooooo - suicide? Traditionally only room for ONE neck in the noose.

WE pay much more to execute someone than to give them life in prison.
Am thinking of Ian Brady - are you saying that 40 years B&B with room service costs LESS than a length of rope and slipping someone a ton to open a trapdoor? I think not - I'd open it for free.

Oooooh, controversial. You're right of course Ellie, but was the murderer thinking of his family when he commited the crime? Can't beat a good British hanging, and with forensics top notch since the abolition of the death penalty in 1966 (except for a couple of misdemeanors), we probably won't even hang the wrong/innocent person.
