i told my wife i wanted to grow out my beard a little longer.

i got a call from an attorney yesterday and he said that if i become incapacitated my oldest child will be my guardian and can decide my future and present care.
i changed my phone number and i will sell everything if need be i do have a few bucks!
my partner and i have worked very hard for what we have.
My dad died last month in Texas. 2 years ago he had his lawyer draw up papers making my aunt guardian if he couldn't make his own decisions. This was so my sister and wouldn't fight. Like that would stop us! But he had it done by attornies, there in Texas. HE made the decision WHO he wanted. There wasn't anything I could do about it. Contact a lawyer. Are you in the dallas area or north of there? I know you told me, but I don't remember exactly where. PM me, ok.

who are these people and why are they essentially allowed to spam on this site?
my response to them was that i feel their message is as offensive as jws bringing their crap to my door (which they cannot do because i live in a gated community), completely unacceptable, offensive and annoying!.
I actually got a couple emails from this group. Guess I need to remove my email address. This is the first time I have gotten actual emails to my email address like that!

this is my first post and what a revelation this site has been to me (excuse the pun) if only this had been available when i walked away from the "truth" in 1987, it would have made life a lot more bearable for me.. i was brought up a jw and was baptized at 14 because i thought it was the right thing to do, endured a very strict upbringing combined with the dreadful routines of worship, study and door knocking.
we were deprived of any enjoyment (tv, friends, outings, fun, etc).
education was a bit of a disruption, having moved to where the need was greater our schooling was interrupted so many times we never made any friends.

Glad to hear your story and that you made it out! I hope we can give to you what has been given so freely to all of us! Every time we hear someone has made it out, it really warms our hearts!

think about this: if seven times mean only 7 years then daniel could have simply said 7 years.
why does daniel specifically use the word 'times' rather than years?
as we have already shown daniel used the word for 7 times instead of 7 years.

I used to be one of those!! One of the things I never got busted for!! My sptedad would let me take "sips" of his ddrinks. I more or less "guzzzled" them!!
just in case i didn't mention it before, i am getting baptized in the anglican church on september the 24th.
this is my new beginning to a spirital awakening and i am so happy about it.

i've never quite understood the big deal about men leaving the toilet seat up but since i hear so much about it i try to comply.
i do have a pet peeve.
sometimes when i lift the seat there are obvious signs on the underside that a female has used it and not bothered to 'tidy up'.
Those are good pics! But they'd still find a way to miss!
