Pipe bomb at Bethel.

does anyone remember the incident that happened back in the summer of 1974 at what was called the "squibb" building at bethel where a pipe bomb detonated at one of the doors just under the bridge that spanned the complex across columbia heights?

i was at bethel at the time and i even have a picture of two nypd cops standing in front of the scene the day after (if i can only find the picture).

i was thinking of posting it on this forum but i don't know how.

I think it just goes to show that pipes are just as bad as any other form of smoking . . and the fact that a NYPD chap was there to mark the occasion is proof for me that even the police can't be trusted when Dubs phobias are involved . .sheesh - what a world

Chirac versus the Cults

i've 'eard that that chap who runs the frogs just east of the uk has turned his attention to the scientologists .

and that the dubs are pretty peed off with the lack of recent attention - seems the chat on the rialto (well, le pont, i suppose) is that the dubs are now scheming to get back in the news by planning some dastardly plot to discredit even the lesser cults .

any update would be gratefully received.

is it true that the org are stopping the jwd forum from re-activating the chat room facility because it allows instant discussion rather than the stilted question / response of the threads ?

is this a sign that this site is not as distant from the org as we thougth ?

is there a paranoid in the house ?

Maybe Simon (and no offence to Simon as I don't know him) is in the pay of the Org . .. and the CHAT will NEVER be available because it allows toooo much direct communication between the anti-dubs .. and THEY don't like that

can anyone refute or confirm the rumour that flagging fashion clothing company 'next' has brokered a lucrative deal with the uk org to outfit the fs foot soldiers ?

word on the rialto is that it was a close run thing between 'next' and 'fcuk' - the latter having fallen at the last hurdle only because of the org's general disbelief in the level of literacy of their intended audience.

in the city, 'next' shares are tipped to rise - if only on the basis that, should the deal go through, the company believe they will have additional free advertising in dubs mags as the word 'next' appears so often.

Is 2034 ''New Light''?

bear with me.

over the years jw have always strived after/prophesied (even though they deny this) a carrot ''date''.

as dates come and go, we hear about ''new light'', but according to the wt :-a new view of truth never can contradict a former truth.

hmmm . .2034 ? . .add up the digits and you get 9 . . but do the same for 1975 and 1914 and you get 4 and 6 respectively . . . ALL of them NON-PRIME numbers - kinda wierd eh ? Maybe those Dubs have something at last . . .

And moreover (not to say nevertheless or indeed notwithstanding) - if you multiply the individual digits of 1914 and 2034 you get 36 and 24, a decending mathematical sequence not only indicating the reducing amount of time left, but probably followed by '12' which could be the result of multplying the digits from the year 2106 . . . is THIS the New Light-After-Next ?

Sacry though it may sound, 2106 is ALSO the result of adding 72 to the year 2034 - and of course, 72 is the result of multplying 9 (the sum of the digits of 2034) by 4 (the sum of the digits of 1975) and then Dub-ling it.

Am scaring myself here -

in the normal bibles john 1:1 says "in the beginning was the word, and the word was with god, and the word was god.

" .... but the dubs version says"... and the word was a god".
