  Need help understanding Fiance

  Thanks for sharing that, Kimbyrs... I was wondering how you knew of some of their beliefs...

  He sounds confused in some manner, maybe it would be best to just step back and give things more time before committing to anything. He also seems controlling... which is a major "Red Flag" to me.

  Yes, there are ones here that are married to witnesses, but are not themselves... I'm sure someone will be along soon to give you their thoughts on your situation.

  3 Baptized at our latest Special Assembly Day at Bristol

  our special assembly day at bristol assembly hall has just finished.

  as i've said before in october 07 http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/7/144194/1.ashx regarding the last two day assembly weekend.

  The costs were announced at just under £2000 and they said they were in 'profit' by about £30. You don't hear that very often

  after the usual spiel about the hamsterwheel and getting involved with the congo, the final part segued seamlessly into a donations appeal (a new macdonalds opens every 16 hours, but a new kingdumb hell opens every 6 hours) think of all the brothers who would be delighted with a hell like yours.. the catch phrase was "give more, expect less.".

  i kid you not..

  I have always wanted to work in some sort of disaster relief program. Being a part of the crew that helps provide food, clothing and shelter to families. Doing our best to help them feel as safe and comfortable as possible under the circumstances. I really think my heart would be in that type of job.

  On a lighter note, I always wanted to own and operate my own "Green House"... I enjoy growing and taking care of plants of all kinds, the more exotic the better.

  This irks me to no end... so much so, that I usually go out of town to shop.

  I did have a major "Die Hard" stop and talk to me a month or so ago, chatted for about 5 min.

  Not once did she mention anything spiritual or say they missed me... lol. I wanted her to, I wanted to say... "Yeah, well it's only been like... 10 years.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

  So guess, I'm still on the books.... not df'd or da'd...........

  Looking for some insights and opinions

  first off, good evening all.

  i have been having some weird stuff happen to me over the past couple of months and am wondering if anyone else has been through it or may have an idea as to why it may be happening.

  i have my own theory, but want to hear other opinions before i make up my mind on how to deal with this situation.. as i have written on this board before, i am fading, inactive, married to an inactive wife who has a rabid jw family.

  I've been getting invites also............

  Spoke to a couple of Baptist Men, at my door not too long ago. They kept wanting me to pray with them. I felt such a pull towards what they were saying, I had to stop and "Mentally" get control of my thoughts. I couldn't believe how gullible I am in that area...

  They did say a prayer, and told me to repeat it, I said, "No, I can't". They were floored when I told them I was afraid to. Went away shaking their head, and so did I...

  I agree that they are just getting more active in a door to door activity. I am NOT ready to be involved in any of it at the moment

  I loved the videos... lol..... I rented a DVD of one a couple weeks ago, can't remember the guy's name at the moment. He had the one named "Walter"... total riot...!!

  I just don't want one of those dolls sitting in a room with me..........Would totally freak me out...

  So true about "Dolls"...

  For me it's the ventriloquist dolls, so afraid they will start talking... I attribute that to an episode of the "Twilight Zone"...

  Other than that I despise... Slugs... they make me gag...
