just wanted to say hi to everyone.. i havent been on here for quite a while as i dont have much tinternet access at the moment.. i hope you are all ok and have had a great christmas!

i'm fine but i got made redundant from my job so im looking for another.

it was on another thread (jwfacts' one about his jc meeting) that i posted a personal experience and it occurred to me, that although it is well behind me and i don't dwell on it (much!

), it may be of some help to those who visit here and are unsure what they think about their jw beliefs.. i wrote:.

Nativity Plays scrapped due to JWs

at a nearby school, the children have for many years performed a nativity play.

i hear now that due to the large number of jw kids attending the school, the play is now due to be cancelled indefinately.

this fits a modern british trend of political correctness where any risk of offence to minorities is identified and acted upon.

I have a feeling that it might happen next year (well this year) in the school my daughter will be attending, in the nursery class this year there are only 11 kids and this is apparentely a big class for the school, next year there will be 4 witness kids that I know of in the nursery class with my daughter, that should be fun for me.

Assemblies: Were You Always on the Prowl for a Mate?

it was usually encouraged that we try to remain single somewhere during the assembly, especially the summer conventions.

some of you sisters were so hott with your summer dresses, hair freshly done.

though i went for the obligatory meeting attendance, it was nice to be able to go on a fishing expedition for sisters, if that was your choosing.

They seem to believe they are adored by police officers, how many times did you hear them bang on about how the police were impressed by their conduct at assemblies.

In actual fact, the police in general don't have an opinion in the slightest and if you ask an individual officer their opinion you will likely be told the same that anyone else would say.

well, I don't know about JWs not saying whats on their minds, I've never noticed that, I've heared a lot of gossiping going on, but then I don't think they do think the same as what we do, any little voice in their head that doesn't agree with what they are being taught is quickly told to be quiet.
